IDK, I think the lack of an audience might inspire them...
As a fan of cosplay - I'd like to see a crowd of the "dead" who have suffered at the hands of the Nazi's - soldiers and victims of WWII. Silently, watching, staring with disapproval. maybe pointing mouthing the word SHAME! And then have the crowd silently, slowly, relentlessly move forward...
Kind of going for some subconscious level terror... I think that might be the only thing that would get thru.

They are "obviously" not facists, they are not "them" this is America, not Germany so from those bozos' POV we just don't understand: they have God and their lily white skin on their side and we, who don't agree, are simpletons who will go straight to h*ll. It makes me sad that there are so many bigots still running around even in societies, like ours, where they have all the advantages they can possibly have. Nothing will ever be enough for them

Three Mexican bakeries here in town are circulating their names and offering to bake some flag cakes. The Jewish bakery that was in our neighborhood closes down last year. Makes me so sad - everything they made was f**cking delicious!

I cannot find a whole episode video with good sound, but here a few short clips. The Twilight Zone Deaths-Head RevisitedA former German SS captain returns to Dachau concentration camp and begins reminiscing on the power he enjoyed there, until he finds himself on trial by those who died at his hands.

Swamp, you just haven't tasted my chocolate sheet cake...aka Tx. sheet cake. It has pecans in the icing, it's often mistaken for gooey brownies cause you pour the icing on the cake while it's still hot and it soaks in! OMG, good and even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream along side!

Found this..."What nationality is the name Fuentes?
Fuentes is a Spanish surname meaning "fountains".

Satire from The Borowitz Report Trump Says Sun Equally to Blame for Blocking MoonBy Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Attacking the media for its “very unfair” coverage of Monday’s solar eclipse, Donald J. Trump said on Saturday that the sun was equally to blame for blocking the moon. “The fake news is covering the eclipse from the sun’s side instead of the moon’s side, but if you look at it from the moon’s side the sun is blocking the moon’s side,” he said. “There are so many sides you can’t count all the sides.” Additionally, Trump tore into the sun itself, calling it a “showboat” for its role in the solar eclipse. “The sun thinks the world revolves around it,” Trump said. “Sad.” Trump said the sun was a “big problem” that his predecessor, Barack Obama, did nothing to solve, but that that situation was about to change. “It will be handled—we handle everything,” Trump said, adding that a preëmptive military strike on the sun was “very much on the table.” Trump Says Sun Equally to Blame for Blocking Moon

It's kind of ridiculous the grand standing some people will do to get the approval and likes and attention of other people.

I decided that with all the protest marches today and the potential for them to get violent that I didn't want to do a big birthday celebration. If they went badly I wouldn't feel like celebrating. In general it's been a stressful & emotional week, I'm just not in a party mood. So today my mom brings me this so i can sheetcake if necessary. Lol. The corner slice is what she took home.

I actually think not showing up is incredibly effective. Don't show up, don't be hostile, dont let the media film, don't do anything. Make the parade route a ghost town. Let them march through empty streets. Much good may it do them.
Its not not the only good strategy though. Overwhelming them is another. See Boston, today. Sheer numbers aren't the only way to do it. You can overwhelm them with sound so their yelling can't be heard - think a marching band or sound system drowning out their yells with whatever - songs supporting civil rights, native compositions from multiple nations or go for the absurd and play hot cross buns on repeat.
Another way is to take a lesson from Gandhi. It's obviously dangerous, but effective. Sit 200 people in the middle of the road. Stand on the side of the road and turn your back, miles and miles of turned backs.
You ou show them they aren't worth paying attention to. You show them they are small. You show them you have more strength.

Your mom (literally) has good taste! What a pretty cake! And I think the best way to protest what is going on is to work at change. Not by counter-violence, not by ripping down statues. Work at change. Education. Writing about it, posting about it, talking to one another. Some of these far - righters will never change. Their tiny minds are made up, and their hearts are hardened to reason. So don't engage them. Ignore them, and their media blowhards. Don't react to their rallies. I like the idea of sitting in the middle of their march, in silence, backs turned to them. Let them rant and rave and yell. Countering with silence tells them how little their rhetoric matters.

Was it on here that someone posted an article about some town who attracted white nationalists groups and when the white racists wanted to have some march, the town got people to sponsor it - for every mile the WN walked, people pledged money and they ended up raising like 12 grand which they gave to some cause that fights racism. They set up the are a like a 5k, with a start and finish line and they cheered them.on with signs supporting the charity and threw confetti on them. I love that town.
