I figure with as little as I cook my oven should last me well into retirement .

I figure with as little as I cook my oven should last me well into retirement . Then you won't need it unless you want to bake the cat food that everyone thinks us old folks are eating in retirement

Well, I certainly won't be eating MY cat's food in retirement. It costs $2.50 per can That's why I get a kick out of people saying if you don't have $5,000,000,000 in retirement fund you will be eating cat food. It is expensive.

It was going to be at least $400 to fix the current range. We paid $1500 cash for the freestanding induction stove top/true-convection oven.
I'm not thrilled about the expenditure, but since we use it every day, it will be fine.

I'm not thrilled about the expenditure, but since we use it every day, it will be fine. My boss loves his and he says that the $100 set of 4 from Ikea are perfect for his use. He says they work really well and that you don't have to buy expensive pots and pans.

Our pots and pans should be work with it, fortunately! One of the sites I read just said to hold a magnet to its base, and if it stuck, the pan would be fine for an induction stove top. Our calphalon and le creuset all loved the magnet!
The range should be here Friday.
