I just ate a container of "classic chocolate" frosting. Is that a bad thing?

I finished off a pint of gelato that I started on Friday (the last night I worked). I don't understand your question.

I just ate a container of "classic chocolate" frosting. Is that a bad thing? Depends... Did it taste good? (I'm assuming yes since you finished it.)

Eating frosting is not a bad thing at all. Eating the nasty chemical stuff that comes in a plasticized cardboard container at the grocery stores or even high quality fondant is a bad thing mainly because it's gross. But eating yummy buttercream or ganache made with ingredients you can spell is divine.

It is if you want to keep your blood sugar stable

I have issues. Yesterday I saw a new bag of Doritos on the counter, after thinking for about 5 seconds, I decided they needed to leave, so I ate the whole bag (not a snack size bag either). I might need some therapy, I think I'm stress eating 😞

What flavor Doritos? Some are more worth it than others. So, what's for dinner tonight? A bag of marshmallows?

Have you moved on to Texas size brownies with frosting and nuts? The whole cookie sheet? Alone? If the answer is no then there is not an eating problem. I make some chocolate cookies with stevia then freeze.

I learned in my 20s to drink cold water, running tap, when stressed instead of a loaf of pumpkin bread. As many glasses of water as I could down.
I like the mini fruit marshmallows.
eta: try to determine what issue you are eating Like your mom withheld chocolate frosting from you.

I have a hard time drinking cold tap water even when I should, so that idea probably won't work for me.
I want to eat my stress or drink it. Found out one of the people that had been helping cover the desk is going on vacation effective Thursday. That means my boss will ask/schedule me for more hours I do not like plus other painful things. I already am unhappy doing cleanup after folks just covering the phones and visitors for the last couple days. Wish I had a job to leap to with FT daytime hours right now. Even if my two week notice would put me a few days after the vacation ends.

Try to relax and remind yourself what an efficient and professional person you are. If needed, deep breath and repeat mantra like peace to center, calm and focus. You can breeze through this.

I blame my mom for everything 😐 She's the one who made sweets everyday while we were growing up and left them on the counter for us to eat, now 40 years later I get sad when there's no cookies on the counter when I come home 😞 FWIW, my mother proudly owns up to my addiction, and still has cookies out every time I come over (except now she lives 19 hours away).
