The answer is simple. Very similar to the old Silent Majority.

Yes!!! Let's focus on something that is no longer relevant rather than point out the myriad ways in which your guy simply isn't up to the job....

I post an article telling you what she and the Democrats ignored and was there downfall and that's your answer? You already lost in 2020 and you have not a clue based on your response.

I'm calling a Donald/Ivanka ticket in 2020 House of Cards Style. One other caveat in the 2016 election. Even the democratic middle class that voted for Trump have decided no more family dynasties.

As if you cared? We're supposed to buy that? That you were looking for discussion or even trying to help the dems get on track for 2020? This is just another post trying to gloat over the election win while ignoring how horrible the guy you elected is. Kind of like the high school star quarterback with a drinking problem, low level job, and 2 kids won't talk to him at the 25 year reunion Keep talking bout that fantastic play that won the homecoming game.... Cuz, that's all you got.

But then you can use a "Double the Winning" tag line : ) I can see Trump winning in 2020 because the anti-Trump forces won't be able to overcome a lackluster Dem candidate (I mean who is there?). Heck I could see a 5 mil popular vote win for the Dems and another electoral loss.

Trump wasted no time bashing him for having ethics.

We should not ignore Trumps inability to be professional, presidential or even human. Not surprising he hasn't gotten anything important done yet, other then a SC judge which was a given.

Right now, government needs to govern. Not campaign for years away when the issues for that time are as yet unclear. While I knew it would be, the rapidity and overwhelmingness of the disaster that is the trump administration was surprising. There is a certain schadenfreund about it.

Oookay, people. As I read these posts nobody has been denigrated YET; however, the line to be crossed has become very visible. Let's stop talking about each other and keep focus on the subject.
If you think Trump is doing a great job that's your viewpoint and your prerogative. It cannot, however, be assigned to somebody else - just as the opposite point of view can't be assigned to those who are happy with Trump's actions. If ya'll can't figure out how to discuss this subject without firing at and baiting each other I can easily impose sandbox rules and either shut down the thread or lock those who can't be tolerant of differing views out of it. The choice is yours - each of you. Make it carefully.

By the way, as a psychologist, what do you think of Joan Williams's work? To me, it seems like she hit the nail on the head--6 years ago.

I am hopeful you are incorrect. The USS Trump is sinking and I hope his racist, ignorant supporters hang on to the railing real tight when it goes down so that this cluster f&%$ embarrassment doesn't happen again. I admit that I don't own a crystal ball, however, I'm pretty sure this will be a one term president whether it's his choice or ours. ETA: No, I'm not saying all of his supporters are racist and ignorant. I was talking about the KKK and Neo Nazi types.

I will agree with this statement on this date in history, but as I have said before, do not hold me to the same standard that Paul does when he says, "Don't doubt me ever", as I have been wrong more than a few times here on the board I very easily be wrong on this date in history right now!

I admit that I don't own a crystal ball, however, I'm pretty sure this will be a one term president whether it's his choice or ours. Based on the stock market results this year, the vast majority of stock traders and stock and bond holders are telling everyone to look at the big picture, instead of the little emotional bits that cut your hearts. This boat is going to rise all souls economically including the legal aliens who live in this country. Blacks will start seeing the results of this booming economy as well as the positive emotion emanating from corporations. With declining unemployment as well as under employment the poor will see a rising economic outlook. This is what is scaring the democrats and msm right now. They have lost the upper hand in politics and the economy controlling and holding back the downtrodden masses of poor here in America. Based on headlines since elected, under a political correct President the Dow would probably have fallen off to 10,000 creating another financial nightmare for everyone. It hasn't, and I cannot believe the funds owned by the major Unions, Universities, and state Unions do not see this President as good for them and their members right now. I know the economy and pocket book is not the end all to how many Americans feel and civil rights are still the gold standard. I get that.It just seems to me it is just some background noise being maintained by the left as they see their grip of control slowly falling away. As far as the track record right now, does anyone know where we are on Muslim immigration numbers right now? I do not know, and the media has basically forgotten about it, as they have gone the race baiting route this month. North Korea? Seems the dictator is backing down, but the headlines about this is a fifth of when it was escalating. Illegal immigration from the border? Down What the heck is wrong with that? Nothing. Keeps people off welfare, hurting the public school systems with people they have to teach the language, holding our citizen's children's education in the process, not to mention the lack of immunization history of all these people, but liberals see no problem with this. Beyond the previous sentence, no alien has a legal right to be here illegally, just because they know the grass is greener on this side of the border, or ocean.

Beyond the previous sentence, no alien has a legal right to be here illegally, just because they know the grass is greener on this side of the border, or ocean. Well, aren't you all over the place today. I'll do my best to respond. The stock market has been going up since the Obama presidency regardless of any emotional bits that cuts hearts. Our stocks have been doing very well during Trump's tenure as well. It's still too early to celebrate just yet or foresee the future believing this will continue. We are hopeful. Yes, North Korea pulled back its threat to attack a U.S. territory, after days of trading increasingly bellicose rhetoric with U.S. President Donald Trump, and hours after China took its toughest steps against Pyongyang to support U.N. sanctions. www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/north-korea-backs-off-threat-to-hit-guam/ar-AAq3obu?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=spartandhpA preventive war is an act fraught with moral problems, even against a depraved regime like that of Kim Jong Un. Such an attack could completely upend the international relations of Asia, turning South Korea permanently against the ally who so carelessly disregarded its interests. It could bring in Chinese intervention, if Beijing believes that the Americans seek to reunify the peninsula on their own terms. It could convince other American allies, on whom the United States depends, and who form the core of its international strength, that its leader is mad, and the political system that produced him gone dangerously haywire. A Korean war would fully absorb the attention of American decision-makers and the efforts of her armed forces and wouldn't that be convenient during the current Russian investigation. Trump is facing growing condemnation inside his own party for his explosive remarks equating neo-Nazis to counter-protesters, as the president once again created an unwelcome distraction from his legislative agenda that caught his own aides off-guard. He has forced Republicans into a conversation about one topic they see no political benefit in speaking about: race. President Trump’s main council of top corporate leaders disbanded on Wednesday after the recent mass exodus. He can make it look like it was his doing but anybody with any comprehension knows the facts. Trump’s Muslim ban was a failure on all fronts as was his Mexican "paid for by Mexico" wall and saving Carrier jobs, and creating more jobs. Foxconn is being paid to come to Wisc., however, it will take 25 years for them to even break even after paying them to relocate there. I've not seen 2017's welfare statistics to know if they are better or not nor do we have children but our public school system is thriving and has been A rated for many, many years. Trump has declared war on truth, facts and decency and I will reiterate that the USS Trump is sinking.
