Hope all his supporters are happy now. You got what you wanted, what Bannon wanted, what Gorka wanted, what Miller wanted. You got Nazis & KKK killing people in the streets.
Fucking winning! I'm so furious right now.

thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/346326-david-duke-charlottesville-protests-about-fulfilling-promisesFormer Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke appeared at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va. prior to Saturday's violent clashes, saying that the event represented fulfilling the promises of President Trump. "This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back, we're going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump, and that's what we believed in, that's why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he's going to take our country back and that's what we gotta do," Duke said. Fuck every god damn one of you who voted for this. And YES, you did vote for this. Can't blame Hillary, can't blame Obama. This is on fucking trump & his base.

This picture from your link is worse than all the videos I posted combined. Idiot didn't have the brains to take off his vehicle license plate.

I posted the link to show some of the horror, but I am grateful no one appears to be posting pics of the woman who I think was killed, who was run over twice. Its good the plate was on there. Peace and healing to all those who need it.
I don't think all Trumpers wanted this.

I remember mentioning here a few years ago about a KKK rally near where I live and some posters seemed kind of surprised they still have rallies, but overall it didn't seem like it was a big deal. And when I've talked about how racism is alive and well where I live, it seemed that some posters struggled with the idea that it's still a problem.
Like I said last year, Trump's campaign for the Presidency made a lot of hateful people bold enough to openly reveal what's in their hearts. The ugliness was still around, it was just hidden.
This story just makes me so sad. And what's really horrible for me is that I am not really surprised. I will continue to pray for my nation. We have people around the world that hate us as a whole, and here we are, busy hating each other. Fear and hatred of one another is not the path to making America great, it is the path to destruction.

Trump still refuses to denounce white supremists. He offered a lame generic denouncement of violence in general. No wonder the Nazis and racists love him.😡

Whether they WANTED it or not, they were certainly OK with it. His rallies were a forecast and a clear predictor.
Abd Steff is right. This is on every person who cast a ballot for the racist-in-chief

Abd Steff is right. This is on every person who cast a ballot for the racist-in-chiefI don't want to put this on everyone who voted for Trump, because then we just create a bigger problem than what already exists. Yes Trump's campaign emboldened these people. But he didn't create them or beg them to do this.

Actually he incited violence at his rallies. I'm tired of tiptoeing around these people and worrying about their precious wittle feelings. And I'm utterly disgusted at his false equivalence about "violence on many sides". He refused to come right out and denounce the white nationalists and Nazis The town's mayor placed blame squarely where it belongs: Mayor Michael Signer said he was disgusted that the white nationalists had come to his town and blamed Trump for inflaming racial prejudices with his campaign last year.
“I’m not going to make any bones about it. I place the blame for a lot of what you’re seeing in American today right at the doorstep of the White House and the people around the president,” he said.www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/trump-reaction-violence-white-nationalist-charlottesville-virginia/

Conservatives were all over kadee's thread "May You Die in Pain" condemning lefty activists who got violent. I don't see any of them posting here condemning this violence.

How? Look at who you elected!! How, indeed! I just want to clarify that I did NOT vote for Trump. I'm just shocked at what a few of his "supporters" are capable of. My Dad fought in WWII to get rid of these vermin (Nazis & their sympathizers). In fact, I can practically hear Dad spinning in his grave right now...

Pretty sure weltschmerz didn't mean "you personally". Rather, "You Americans". And those of us who did NOT vote for the racist in chief are still stuck with the stigma of him being president.

I did note that your condemnation did not come until your second post and after I pointed out the lack of conservative participation in this thread. But even a prompted condemnation is something.

I saw this on the news. This is disgusting and stupid... and my suggestion of punishment would be for the driver to be run over (if I could pick the punishment. I believe that violent criminal acts should be punished with equal violence).
But I won't blame "all Trump supporters" because many of Trump's supporters simply didn't, in their opinion, have a better choice. Hillary was going to continue Obama's legacy, and would have nominated liberal judges, and she was/is corrupt. This is just my opinion, but I believe that most of those that voted for Trump are just conservative in their beliefs... and part of living in a free country is respecting people that believe differently.
I give no support to violence though. None whatsoever. There's no excuse for violence just because someone believes differently than you or has different color skin or has different values than you do, or has different body parts than you or dresses differently than you think that they should dress.
*note: any "yous" or "yours" are all meant in the general sense and are not directed at anyone here.

No. I think they ALL should hold some blame. It wasn't a big secret when Trump was campaigning. He made lots of winks and nods and played on their 'lingo' and 'vocabulary'. Trump actively courted their vote... he accepted money from them and then put their people into positions of power. Why do you think there was so much HORROR when Trump won the election? He doesn't represent the "moderate republican" - which if he did there wouldn't have been such horror at his election.

He doesn't represent the "moderate republican" - which if he did there wouldn't have been such horror at his election. If you want them ALL to hold blame here... then that would be including those that made Trump look like a reasonable choice (namely the supporters of Hillary that kept her as a viable option). If you are going to blame people that didn't want violence, you have to hold anyone that had anything to do with him getting into power equally at fault. And that list is quite long: - Hillary supporters
- Trump supporters
- Corrupt politicians in the Senate and Congress
- Supporters of those same corrupt politicians
- Obama
- Supporters of Obama and his Policies
- Bush II
- Supporters of Bush II
- et cetera
- et cetera
- et cetera
We need to remember, Trump is the result of many things that led us to what we have today. Remember the saying "it'll get worse before it gets better"? Trump is that "get worse". ETA: The Nation didn't collectively wake up one morning and think, as if being of one mind: "Trump as President... what a GREAT idea!"

If it wasn't for the fact that the Political Correct Liberals that wants to rewrite history, by removing statures, changing street names or schools for no other reason than political correctness. None of this would have happened, So instead of blaming Trump and anyone that supported him or did not like Hillary, Go look in the mirror! You are just as responsible for this as anyone!!

No one wants to rewrite history. (Except maybe people not acknowledging most of these statues went up long after the civil war in response to civil rights movement). And it isn't just 'liberals' who want to change statues. Etc.
Sorry. Terrorism is using violence to try to get your way. Even if I was on the fence before, now I'd be like, every statues coming down. Violence doesn't win capitulation.
Just as reponsilbe... fuck that. You can't actually be serious?

Who had the torches? Who plowed people down with a car? Who killed a woman and sent 19 to the hospital, et. Yes. The white sipremisist domestic terrorists are responsible for the violence.
