I got to watch about half of the show tonight. Can you tell us which treasure is yours?

BUMP for those who wanted a reminder. The three Portland shows start tonight on PBS. You will find out at the same time as I do if my segment made the cut. If not tonight, there are two more chances: April 9 and April 16. In other news, Mr. Kittensaver will be watching from the very best seat in the house. He passed away last Tuesday after a short and fierce battle with a rare form of blood cancer. Today is his birthday I'm so, so sorry! At least it was a short battle. Thinking of you.

I missed the first 20 minutes or so. It's good to hear that I didn't miss her! I did get the dog chewed painting though. I was amused.

Well . . . I got left on the cutting room floor Oh well . . . . BUT
I *did* catch a tiny glimpse of me/us during the appraisal of the Queen Anne chest of drawers on last night's (April 16) episode. Early on in the appraisal, if you look over the shoulder of the owner of the furniture, you'll see a woman with shoulder-length hair in black petal pushers and a long white top with the strap of a body bag across her back . . . that's me. We were setting up *over there* for a filmed appraisal at the time.
Further into the same segment, you will again catch 2 glimpses of a man in dark cargo shorts and a tan polo shirt, one time standing and the next time kneeling (unpacking the suitcase we brought). That was Mr. Kittensaver
Maybe someone with more tech skills than me can capture those frames and post them?

I'm sorry your segment didn't make it onto the show. Now maybe you can tell us here more about your item. I'm no techie, but I DO know you can go onto PBS.org & see reruns of your favorite shows. Maybe the most recent episode is there now?

So, can you tell us now what the results were, since they didn't make it onto the show?

Kittensaver is taking a break but this was a pretty good find. Real good find. Chinese vase found in shoebox sells for $19 millionAn 18th century Chinese vase found in a shoebox in an attic in France sold for 16.2 million euros ($19 million) at auction in Paris on Tuesday. The price was more than 20 times the estimate of 500,000 euros to 700,000 euros auctioneers Sotheby’s had put on the item. It was the highest price reached for a single item sold by Sotheby’s in France. The vase spent some of its life stashed in an attic with other items that formed part of an inheritance. A French family retrieved the vase and brought it to the auctioneer. Full story here: Chinese vase found in shoebox sells for $19 million
