I want all the puppies! If I had the room I'd have them all.

I was watching Thing 2's dog last weekend and there were 2 boys that live across the street talking to each other and pointing to my backyard while I had all 4 dogs outside. They probably thought "Oh great! Another one!"

Yes I know it is not a dog. But it is cute. I like men with cats. They're secure in their masculinity.

How's Ted?
Teds good, he’s very tolerant, I’m pretty sure Bill will be the dominant one in the kennel. Unless Ted is just being nice for now with plans to lay down the law later. I was hoping Bill would help with some of Teds separation anxiety, but he hasn’t helped so far.

Yesterday, little one went for her first "spa" day. (Grooming).
Shelby is three. She's very assertive. (meaning in your face with other dogs) How are your pups with going to the groomer? I opted to have her grooming done at the vet's office. (usually gets her nails trimmed there). Groomer took some time with us, and tried to get Shelby to trust her a bit. She didn't come back all bandaged DH got to talk to her a little when we picked her up, but, I want to call her tomorrow and ask about the visit. Grooming tips or stories anyone?

We allow pets in our store at the PT job and a couple brought in German Shorthairs. One was a lot more black and the other was more speckled. Their names were Ruger and Tank, but they looked just like Bill annd Ted.

They said the first was getting really sad while they were gone. I'm pretty sure the second one is going to be dominant when he's full grown. The first one won't lay down the law. They have to separate them for feeding or the younger one would eat both bowls.

Macy is getting fat because she's eating all the food so the others won't get it. She is definitely the dominant dog.

I always separate the dogs when I feed them, it helps me regulate their food intake better. Also prevents fights over food.

Somehow I thought the toon panels would end up with something about labradoodles which have been in the news as of late.

I wasn’t sure they would even post, but Pearls before Swine is my favorite comic strip and since it was about dogs, I thought I’d give it a try.

Pups rescued from the plate to find new homes in Montreal MONTREAL -- Dozens of pups rescued from the dog meat industry will soon call Montreal home. The International Humane Society recently seized the dogs—62 of them--from a South Korean farm, where they were destined to be slaughtered, or used for breeding. Soon, they’ll be adopted by families in the Montreal area, according to Rebecca Aldworth, director of the Canadian branch of the International Humane Society. But they’ve been through a lot. “These are dogs that are going to require a lot of tender love and care to heal from the trauma they've been through,” she said. In South Korea, the dogs--tosas, jindos, golden retrievers and even terriers--were housed in barren cages. They were emaciated, dehydrated and suffered from skin infections. montreal.ctvnews.ca/pups-rescued-from-the-plate-to-find-new-homes-in-montreal-1.4619025

This day two years ago - dog accidentally ran a half marathon, and finished 7thLudivine, a two-and-a-half year old Bloodhound, had been let out for a wee when he decided to compete. Running 13.1 miles can be hard, no matter how good your training has been, so imagine being overtaken by a dog, who just turned up on the day and decided to run. On this day two years ago, runners were lining up on the start line of the Elkmont Trackless Train Half Marathon in Canada, when Ludivine, the two-and-a-half year old Bloodhound, crawled under her garden fence, ran towards the start and decided to join in the race. Despite no training, or real warmup, Ludivine impressively kept up with the leaders of the race, finishing seventh even after taking two detours to sniff a dead rabbit and investigate a nearby herd of cows. Ludivine crossed the line in just over an hour and a half, and was rightly awarded a finishers medal. Article and pictures here: This day two years ago - dog accidentally ran a half marathon, and finished 7th

Bill on his way to the vet. He just sat there and stared at me, never made a sound.

I'm starting to wonder if Macy's mad at me. She has been sleeping downstairs instead of with Jackson and I upstairs lately. T2 moved back with yet another dog, so I'm wondering if that's why since that's when it started.
