Just came in from fetching my mail. My fuzzy buddy saw me from her sentry post in her bed by the window and demanded to be let out to greet me (and run around the yard and sniff things--sometimes I think I might just be an excuse to go outside). She seemed happy to see me and greeted me so enthusiastically that she nearly licked my glasses off. Then she got her tummy thoroughly scritched. It was a good day.

You must have lots of free time! Those are definitely high energy pups as you know.

If you've got the land and the money, I say go for it. If I had a bunch of land I'd totally be the crazy dog lady.

There's a female shepherd mix at the local shelter. My DH is in love with her. I still think we are gone too much.

A tired puppy is a well behaved puppy. Maybe the owner wore them out before going there. I would have.

My wife was very glad I didnโt come home with a puppy. Even she knows how hard it is to deal with one in the winter time. Come spring, all bets are off, Ted desperately needs a new friend.

No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

Ok, go looking for Krato at Crufts 2019. There's a couple of videos of this rescue dog on the agility course. It's amazing.

It's been entirely too long, I really needed to get caught up on the photo's! Thanks to all of you for posting them! Now, dog lovers, pay attention! They have been waiting patiently all through the long cold dark winter. Today is National Walking Day! Remember to bring you best buddy along!

I left the twins loose in the house for the first time while I went to work today. They'll either do well or it will be the worst mistake of my life. I work a short shift, so we'll see. Pray for me.

I have a road rash type thing on my nose now. Macy punched me in the face while sleeping the other night. Butt head.

LD and I are at the vet. I have no clue what he did, rolled a paw or whatever, but he doesn't want to put weight on that right front paw. this is the oblivious soul that takes a hockey stick upside the head (while.playing in the backyard) and walks it off. it's been a few hours, and he's still visibly limping. that's not okay. and, since we've been here, he hasn't pulled on the leash, at all. something is wrong. here's hoping whatever it is, it's easily fixable. ๐

Sometimes they step on something a get a sore foot, or in the case of my mutt, he slides into something (like a wall) because he forgets how to stop and hurts his front foot.
