When people and organizations get hit in the wallet they generally start to take notice quite quickly. I think we are all agreeing trump isn't going to win. The question is - will he make it to Nov. 8th on the ballet? As the GOP nominee? Or will they try to do something. Early voting is already in place. in some states they can't take him off the ballot at this point. BUT - will they attempt a principled "we're done with him"? Also of interest: What happens to trump businesses after Nov? How will his finances fare following all this negative press?

I think the Trump name has been tarnished and he made money off of that. I don't think he's worth anywhere what he says. I'm sure a lot of it is tied up in ventures that could start losing lots of money and loans become due. In short I think he's screwed business wise.

I'm sure a lot of it is tied up in ventures that could start losing lots of money and loans become due. In short I think he's screwed business wise. I'm not so sure about that - from the beginning, I think Trump's game plan was to generate a following in order to start a new business venture - Trump TV. It would be the perfect platform for a narcissist.
Trump could have his own talk show - imagine if Rush Limbaugh did the Colbert show -and fill the time with shows hosted by his buddies, reality shows, and nice wholesome Little House on the Prairie quality family entertainment or maybe lavish pageant style musical shows.
Now, would enough of his steadfast voters be interested in paying extra to get that channel on their cable package? Or would they lose interest when he is no longer running for office?
But you're right, he made the bulk of his money doing licensing agreements to allow people to use his name on their products or developments, because the Trump name stood for ultimate luxury. It won't stand for that anymore, so that particular cash cow is dead, I think.
I kind of wonder what will happen to him, if he loses this election and falls off the map. Narcissists need to constantly be in the spotlight. I guess he can occupy himself with suing people for a while, that will generate some interest in him, I guess.

Also of interest: What happens to trump businesses after Nov? How will his finances fare following all this negative press? He will be the party nominee on November 8th, as he should be. This is who the GOP chose as their nominee. And to be honest, there shouldn't be any talk about removing him from the ticket. It's unfair to the people who voted for him in the primaries, and I think it would be political suicide for the GOP in general. Now, removing funding from his campaign is another story. I think the more interesting thing is what happens after November 8th. Because I think Trump has done irreparable damage to his brand as it exists now. However, I do think that Trump will start a new venture. Trump TV. it'll be an alt-right news network.

It's unfair to the people who voted for him in the primaries, and I think it would be political suicide for the GOP in general. The time to squash him would have been before he even made it onto the ballot. If they wanted the "right" candidate they should have narrowed down the candidates and polished their choice long before Trump became the loudest voice in the room. Instead they let the circus go on for so long that Trump managed to waltz right into the nomination. The Republican party has to live with that. As distasteful as he is people voted and to remove him from the ticket would go against everything our country is built on. We have the right to elect a jackass for president if we desire.
