Poor old bloke never had a chance. www.rt.com/usa/353031-sanders-wasserman-schultz-resignation/ Debbie Wasserman Schultz has said she will step down as Democratic National Committee chairwoman at the end of party's convention following WikiLeaks’ revelations which indicated that the committee plotted against Bernie Sanders.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Wasserman Schultz said the "best way" for her to accomplish the goals of the party was for her "to step down as Party Chair," after the DNC's Convention, which runs from Monday to Thursday in Philadelphia.
...
Earlier on Sunday, Sanders had called for Wasserman Schultz to resign and that he was “not shocked” at the damning revelations in the WikiLeaks .
But, at least Ms. Wasserman-Schulz gets a golden parachute for her loyalty (ibid.): And in a shocking 'beyond caring what the average joe thinks' move, Hillary Clinton announced that Debbie Wasserman Schultz will serve as an honorary chair on Clinton's campaign, almost as if she is doing her best to provoke Bernie Sanders fans. And... here come the lawsuits from Sen. Sanders' supporters.

Watching MSNBC this afternoon, they were mentioning there will be 50,000 protestors supporting their various causes. The reason there are going to be way more protesters in Philly than were in Cleveland, was, it is much easier to get to Philly than it was Cleveland. Just a bus ride from D.C. SERIOUSLY. THIS WAS THE REASON GIVEN.

Well except for BLM, most protests tend to be D.C., NYC and California, so I kind of agree the accessibility of Philly would get more protesters than somewhere like Cleveland.

Ahh, but we were assured by pro illegal immIgrant factions and BLM they would be there enmasse, to disrupt the RNC. About the only group that did show up in numbers represented Communist party factions. None of them knew where Cleveland was? All they had to do is read a map. or google Cleveland Ohio to find it. I assure you they could catch a bus to Cleveland from anywhere USA if they could not afford the plane ticket. Heck when Woodstock occurred kids came from everywhere to get there. It could have happened in Cleveland if they wanted, but obviously, the DNC decided not to pay the protestors way there because they realized it would increase the popularity of Trump with America.

Yesterday there was a discussion on a DNC e-mail that said, there might be some truth to Trump's claim about Cruz's father having a meal with Oswald and to be careful about using it against Trump. Do not blame me. Just saying there was a discussion about it, and it was not on Fox News

Do not blame me. Just saying there was a discussion about it, and it was not on Fox News We already know that Cruz's father met the man. The problem is Trump decided to do his usual massive exaggeration and decide that meant Cruz's dad helped plan an assassination.
Trump is still a liar. We apparently though can't use it against him because for some odd reason Trump's lies are celebrated and some folks love to pretend they are facts.

Agree with you both on MOST of the e-mails, but not so much on the one that commented about asking Bernie about his religious beliefs. That one really struck a bad note for me. deminmaine, is it SOP for the chair to be using a personal e-mail address? That also stood out to me..... But I also admit that I don't know much about what goes on behind the scenes.

It is amazing how many engineers we have over there building everything for them, and we even allow the engineers to install thepropietary programs on their systems, so they can steal it for further use elsewhere in their country. HGTV has shown many Americans looking for housing over there because their business corporation transferred them over there.

Is it better that Hillary's lies are ignored? Yep...and pretend they are facts - either that or dismiss them with an "Oh...that's not so bad." We also can ignore her breaches of national security and pretend they were just honest mistakes.

Look at Donna Brazil's responses. My God, she is the Vice Chair and is as guilty as Wasserman Shultz is in dissing Bernie and his followers in her responses. Yes, maybe she was joking, but again, never put it in writing. Perception is reality. She should go too. Hillary making Wasserman a Honorary Chairperson of her campaign is the most atrocious arrogant thing that has happened yet. Hillary is arrogant or so far removed from public sentiment, and she is literally slapping Bernies's followers in the face.
