He slept for an hour, and then after a LOT of effort to wake him up, he just left for the annual MANDATORY Senior Breakfast with the Police. The Police? Really? Shit, my senior year...I have no idea. I remember my prom and graduation but that's it. Didn't go to any Senior activities and we didn't have a mandatory breakfast with the police. They'd be arresting most of us if we did. Oh wait, I think they arrested quite a few in the later years. Lynn ain't exactly the world's freshest city, let me just say that.

If you'd like, GRG a/k/a goldenrulegirl, I can PM you my cell # and you text me if you'd like me to hit the computer after 3:30 or so. (AM) That's about when I get home. I'm up. I usually stink like a buffalo, especially at this time of year, but I am somewhat awake.

I'm up for work. why oh why did i take a job that requires me to get up at the ass crack of dawn? At first blush, insanity usually appears to be perfectly rational.

I'm up for work. why oh why did i take a job that requires me to get up at the ass crack of dawn? Ive used to wake up at 2:30 AM every other day for 6 years! However I can sleep anytime if you give me a wall to lean on...standing up is fine! Always been like that! I had even thought of giving myself up to studying by some people who can pay well. Know anyone?

I don't expect to be up much longer. We just finished watching Chronicles of Roddick. As lays fun to watch Vin Diesel.

Bad things happen when I don't sleep. Only sleep deprivation would cause me to think painting my finger and toe nails in purple glitter polish was a good idea. I'm old and I will be working in the garden/dirt tomorrow. So sure, sure, purple glitter, why not

I wish I expected to be asleep now. Made breakfast/dinner of French toast with rye bread. Not bad, but I wish I had blackberry jam instead of blackberries because they did not smoosh as well as I hoped into the finished French toast. Originally it was to be dinner, but one of my neighbors in the complex, D, was grilling chicken etc. and after I begged him for a piece of chicken if he had one left over, he actually delivered me a plate with one piece of grilled chicken w/ barbeque sauce, an ear of corn, and big slab of grilled pork steak which he said needed more salt. ( I did get my work clothes laundry done, that's how I knew he was grilling... had to walk past his building.)
So, you'd think I'd be good, but my allergies are awful right now. I actually think I'm going to get dressed and walk outside in the rain in the dark. Hopefully I think of something... maybe Neti pot?
Actually, I really want the Jeremy Camp CD that's in my car's CD player up here, to play until I am ready to sleep.

If you wear gloves and closed toe shoes, your glitter will be contained...
and no purple glitter to garden transfer need to occur. (1:56AM. Crap I work at 8AM and full day too... )

Poor kid gets legitimately sick anytime he has vacation. Of course, he now has a permanent vacation from high school so he got sick. Oh, and I thought it, Empress, but Chiver beat me to it.

Yup I'm up too and have been for awhile. In my defense I went to bed early and the cat senses when I'm faking sleep and demands love. Then leaves me once he gets it. Typical male.

Cold brew is like, coffee brewed in cold water with the grounds like tea, I think? My cousin explained it to me last summer, he and his fiance were happy to find some in NYC while they were staying there (apparently it's huge in Portland, not on the east coast so much yet?). It's stronger than regularly brewed coffee I think? I haven't tried it. I actually wasn't up much last night, hurray! Sorry to those who were though

Of course, he now has a permanent vacation from high school so he got sick. Oh, and I thought it, Empress, but Chiver beat me to it. I feel for YDS. It seems like whenever I used to go on vacation, I would need another vacation to recover from the sinus infection or whatever else I always managed to develop. Guess being too poor to take vacations has its upside! Well, that and Grumpypants doesn't like to go anywhere anymore. Which would be why my sister is taking me to NH in July for a weekend. Better not get sick. I'm still trying to figure out what she wants though. She hates going back to our old hometown so something has GOT to be up. I did ask if she was dying. She says no. Hopefully we'll see our cousins in Jackson. It's been a few years.

Sorry to those who were though Cold brew is just coffee brewed with cold water as opposed to the revolting DD mainstay of iced coffee which is hot coffee with too many ice cubes in it. Yuck. The main difference between cold brew and iced coffee involves temperature. That is, cold brew is brewed cold and never heated, while iced coffee is normal coffee that’s then cooled down.-food52.com/blog/7317-how-to-make-cold-brewed-coffee
apparently it's huge in Portland, not on the east coast so much yet? - I assume you mean the one in Oregon, not the one in Maine?
