My patience is wearing veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy thin lately. Anymore righteous indignation and I swear I'm gonna get all stabby.

Joy. Emotion. A few weeks ago I had an afternoon where I felt absolutely elated and joyous...really for no reason at all. It just highlighted the fact that I typically feel nothing other than boredom and mild irritation (with brief spurts of rage) anymore. Was there alcohol involved? I hope you get that back again soon! The empathy thing - I have a lot of trouble feeling empathy for people in situations they created and that they can fix, but choose not to. I see that a lot and I'm just over it. Empathy for general injustices and human suffering? Yeah, of course I have feelings about that.
I totally get what you mean and agree! Joy. Emotion. A few weeks ago I had an afternoon where I felt absolutely elated and joyous...really for no reason at all. It just highlighted the fact that I typically feel nothing other than boredom and mild irritation (with brief spurts of rage) anymore. I think there is a pill for that. What's it called and how much is it? Awwwww, sweetie...

Unfortunately I haven't lost my stubborness, fear of having an addictive personality and using pharmaceuticals as a crutch, or my belief I should be able to fix everything myself.

I understand all that. As long as you're not crying all the time you probably don't really need one anyway. I hope your joyous moments come more frequently .

My desire to live anywhere in the South. I thought the weather would make up for all the differences of opinion, nope. I just do not fit in in the South.

How long are you in Texas angel? I honestly do not know. My husband just made the promotion list, he will probably stay in another 4 years so he can get that retirement. I am hoping that he comes up for a command soon and we have to move. Yes, we just got here and we are ready to leave.

I agree with you when it comes to day-to-day life. But if you are a writer, there are thousands of novels just waiting to be written. You must live it to write it.

I can't reproduce my great BIG family parties that I had growing up. I've always wanted to do this for my kids, but I've given up ? Family not near. Other obligations.
