Apple and her DS and I spent an hour together in Versailles talking over cold drinks. It was great to meet them! (Although her poor DS was probably bored hearing us talk for an hour lol.) I enjoyed it! Felt like a little chatterbox, and I normally have a hard time talking to people DS was just really happy to be off his feet again. So much walking the last two days! I took a tip from Ratchets and had DS stand in the entrance line, while I went and bought tickets. We ended up ready at about the same time (he beat me, so was letting people go past him.)

Good suggestion from Rachets. So what did you, and/or DS, find the most impressive, interesting, or striking about Versailles, and the other things you've seen so far? If you'll tell us about what you're seeing, we can pretend we're there with you! I can identify with your DS. After a day at Versailles, I was just worn out on the walk back to our hotel. One of the fun experiences was stopping at a little park/plaza along the route. Moms and little kids playing while waiting for Dad to come home on the train. Old ladies leaning on apartment window sills watching the activity in the park. Nice way to rest and enjoy some shade as the day cooled down.
