I'm actually going to a salon to have my hair and make-up done before the event. We'll be far away from home and neither of my daughters will be with me. I don't own enough make-up nor am I skilled enough for a black tie event.

I’m going to a Scottish society formal. It’s a huge deal. I wanted to make a long skirt out of my clan plaid but they want $100 a yard. Went to Macy’s and bought a beautiful green formal dress for basically a hundred dollars and am hoping I don’t have to hem it. I’ll try it on today with heels. I’ll wear my clan plaid sash with it. Trying to decide hair up or down.

How pretty! I love your hair! Did it take forever to do? It took the stylist an hour for the hair.

I ordered these by accident, thinking they were those cheap stretchy little winter gloves. But since I had them, I figured what the heck, might as well use them. They're awesome.
Exfoliating shower gloves

Exfoliating shower gloves I must say I'm amused that you thought you were ordering knit gloves.

Lol I know! I don't know how I got confused. I'm sure I was looking at little knit gloves and just randomly clicked on those by accident. But they really do feel good, especially on my legs and feet.

I use Josie Maran Sugar Balm Scrub. Great on face and body.l I know it's a little pricey, but it doesn't take much. Ulta likely carries it and I know Sephora does. It makes my face feel like velvet with nothing but a quick scrub.

Only heard good things about PTR products, never used that one though. I am a big fan of chemical exfoliants over physical ones. My current fave is Peach Slices Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask. I use it twice a week. www.ulta.com/super-reboot-resurfacing-mask?productId=xlsImpprod18971025I also love CosRx products, especially their snail mucin essence and rice overnight mask.

I love the PTR cleansing gel, but my skin isn't really dry, so not sure how well that would work for you. I've always been happy with all the PTR products. If you look up their Play by Sephora boxes right now they have a bunch that you can order individually for $10. May have meet a minimum purchase to get free shipping, though. You could look thru those and maybe find a couple things to try. m.sephora.com/search?keyword=play%20by%20sephora%20boxI also like their Sephora Favorites Skin Wonderland sets for trying out new products. Right now it's half price, but still a little expensive. m.sephora.com/product/skin-wonderland-P450269

I tried the gift set and OMG! It's so good! I won't repurchase all of it. The mask, exfoliator, and moisturizer are a definite yes. I don't need a $39 face wash and the vitamin C serum smells like bacon grease which I'm not a fan of. Outside of that I call it a win!

Lol, I would not want the smell of bacon grease on my face! Glad you like most of the products.
My vitamin C serum from Derma-E smells like Froot Loops upon application. I love it, lol.

I have this! Or one very much like it. Sometimes I even pair it with *gasp!* a pink cardigan. Three colors!!! Good for you for stretching your comfort zone!
