I like them both . They do tend to bleed a lot on me though . Time to get some new lip liners , I guess . 😀 I got a clear lipliner and I love it. Prevents lipstick from bleeding. Only need one! Or in my case, 3 because I lost the first one and then decided I needed one for work as well as at home. But in general - fewer lipliners! Which kind do you use ?

Payless is closing. I checked out our local store and got myself three new pairs of shoes. A pair of pink heels, white see thru flats with a daisy pattern and a neutral pair of wedge sandals.
Plus a new sneakers for Abby and her tap shoes for September(bought a size bigger) and slippers for Gwen.
Total came to $33. I am the shoe bargain master!

I sometimes use my Nyx Wonder Pencil to line my lips but not all the time. I tend to wear a lot of matted and liquid lipsticks so I don't exactly need a liner, but the stains and other such non-matte lippies need some liner and I'm not buying multiple liners! Gonna try the Sephora clear liner.

I was at Target a few days ago and just got the Maybelline lip liner in clear and the NYX in plum together . They both work great with my Maybelline lipstick .
Great minds think alike 😀

I started using this product earlier this week. it's only been a few days, but I can already see a difference. between softening some of the lines that are starting to set in my face, and my hands being less dry and cracked after basically working the extra in like lotion after applying to my face....this is amazing. definitely recommend. and, it jogged my memory to back when my first company first started isolating the API of hyaluronic acid back in the day. we'd all be handling the product of scale-up runs bare handed. nobody had dry skin during that project! lol.. Neutrogena "hydro boost"

My skin has become very dry lately. Even more than it's ever been. Particularly under my mouth and around my nose. I've been using the hydrp boost on the rest of my face first and then adding a drop of the sesame oil and doing the rest of my face. I also switched foundations from matte to dewy and it looks so much better now!

I'm trying to decide how dressy to be for DD's high school graduation. For DS#2's I really think I wore jeans. But, it was outside, and there were 250 students graduating.
Then we moved the girls to a different county, and their graduating classes have 55 and 45 students respectively. For DD#1's I wore a business-level sheath dress. For this one, I weigh 20 pounds more than I did for for DD#1's, and I don't have as many options in my closet. I could just wear a skirt and blouse. I could wear a sundress.

I vote sundress. When in doubt during this time of year, the answer is always sundress.

I'll need to try on the two sundresses I have. I'll need them to cover my lovely new scar. Of course, I live on the coast, so it could rain next Sunday just as it is today. Then, wearing a cardigan look odd.

Warning. Since I had a tummy tuck I have been looking at crop tops all over the internet. That's probably what I'll be posting for a while. I have one already, but I will be going shopping for more once I'm healed a little more and some swelling has gone down. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to have a bunch of sun exposure for a year, so swimming is out this summer. I'll have to wait for next year.

where exactly is your scar? there's a ton of cute tankinis and one-pieces available. don't deprive yourself of the sun completely if you don't have to!

I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to have a bunch of sun exposure for a year, so swimming is out this summer. I'll have to wait for next year. SPF 50 (or 100) and a towel or shirt or something to cover your scar when sitting in the sun works wonders. Or a tankini or 1 piece (I'm really tall, so 1 pieces are out for me). I lived in Florida when I had mine done, and slathering on sunscreen every couple hours worked for me. I will say, though, that around my scar and around my bellybutton (which had been cut into, so small scar there) would get red if I wasn't careful. Not a sunburn (b/c, you know, SPF 100), just red, like it was slightly irritated. Within an hour of being inside, it was fine. So don't panic like I did the first time it happened

The scar is below the bikini line, but my belly button was relocated. Well, it's in the right place, but the skin was pulled down,so it's in a different part of the abdominal skin. I'll have to ask the doctor about a tankini. I already had one. Maybe I was just reading too much into it. My two piece that I got will probably be out of the question though.

My niece and I went shopping for crop tops today. I got 4 of them and 2 dresses. One is sleeveless and flowy for summer. The other is lightweight, but long sleeved for fall. It was on clearance for $8, so I'm cool with it sitting in the closet for a few months until I'm ready to wear it. And! I only spent about $43 for everything! Yay!
