I'm so going to start shopping at Nordstrom Rack after I get my tummy tuck. I'm hoping to go down at least one dress size.

I've been having a lot of anxiety and spending money like it's not going on a credit card, which... not ideal. But, with that said, I just got a ton of new dresses, hooray! For work: www.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/2543760/donna-morgan-crepe-sheath-midi-dress?color=HORNwww.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/2026312/love-ady-ruffle-hem-fit-flare-dress?color=HOTFUS (Not that color, and it's a sheath vs. ruffle hem, but they sold out of that one.) finally, no pic, but I bought a Max Mara sheath off eBay -second hand. I've always loved their pieces but out of my price range! It's very chic and simple and I lurve it! I've also been trying to build more of a casual, things I could wear to dinner with friends wardrobe. Because right now, I have very little of that. So also: www.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/2770426/bobeau-bell-sleeve-knit-wrap-dress?color=MINT%2FMAUVE%20FLORALwww.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/2141955/velvet-torch-side-slit-knit-dress?color=COCOFinally, the thing that makes me nervous and is way out of my comfort zone: www.lulus.com/products/right-to-dream-taupe-wide-leg-wrap-jumpsuit/770032.htmlI have no no idea if I will ever actually wear it. We will see! YASSS TO EVERYTHING!!!!!

for those interested in the underwear shopping outcome: 1. I went to JCPenney later the same day and they were having a sale on one of their brands - $5 for $25 kind of like the VS deals that happen 1-2x a year. I snagged a lacy pair of black and a lacy pair of purple (a preferred color of his) and 3 cute pairs. I also got 3 bras because I need them anyway. Total was about $84. 2. Yesterday was the grand reveal so to speak (I went with the purple). Um.... they didn't have time to be appreciated. And I am 100% okay with that.

I'm thinking about that first dress for myself.
I just cant with a jumpsuit. I drink a lot of tea, which makes me want to pee more often than a lot of people. When you wear something like that into the restroom, you know where I'm going with this.

I own one jumpsuit and that's it after I was reminded what a PITA it is to go to the bathroom in one.
I bought myself a new winter coat. I don't need it now but I've been eyeballing it since December when it was $275. It was marked down to $60 yesterday. Hell yes!

I need some recommendations for mascara. I've been using Maybelline Stiletto, which is fine, but I'd really like one that has more lengthening if possible. I have a two-step fiber one, which works great for the few occasions I use it, but it's not for every day. Any mascaras you all really like? Maybe ones that have the fibers in the regular mascara, so I get a little extra lengthening without the two-step process? My eyes aren't sensitive, and I don't need waterproof.

I use Lash Sensational luscious full fan effect waterproof. I want a mascara that will be partially there or still on in the morning so all I have to do is brush them. It's supposed to be waterproof. It is better than nonwaterproof.
Have you thought of magnetic false lashes?

I use ridiculously expensive mascara but it's soooooo good: Trish McEvoy high volume mascara.
Speaking of ridiculously expensive things: sephora having their annual or biannual sale, 20% off everything for Rouge members. Discounts go down with membership levels. I stocked up on things I've been running low on plus splurged on some supergoop mineral sunscreens. I'm allergic to chemical sunscreens so I really need to find a new mineral one for my face. Cheers to, I think justme, for pointing me towards It! Cosmetics - I ordered their cc cream because it's mineral sunscreen as well. I like it and the shade range is good for paler people, but it's heavy and I need a sunscreen for days when I want to wear normal foundation or no makeup.
Oh oh and I bought more dresses for no reason and desperately need a couple new bras as I've lost weight and am down about a cup size, maybe a band size as well. But man do I not want to go bra $hopping.

I worry about something like that being able to contain the girls. I'm a C cup, so not huge, but not small either. I do love that there is no wire though.
I actually got some good ones at TJ Maxx that were wire free that I love.

I am down from a 36E/F to what I suspect might be a 34 D/E. So I’m still not in “normal” sizing. But i don’t want to go get measured or spend a fortune on new bras until i settle into a new weight.

Bra shopping is a nightmare for me. I’m 34/36A and apparently that means I automatically hate my small boobs and NEED push-up action or padding. I have to really hunt to find regular bras. I mean the push-up ones are okay if I’m going out, but they’re pretty uncomfortable on a regular basis. And bra companies, how about encouraging body acceptance rather than basically telling me small boobs are insufficient?

I'm the same size and I agree- there are racks and racks of DDs out there but a meager selection for the "Itty Bitty Titty Committee". (I saw that on a T-shirt once- loved it!) I don't hate my small boobs at all. They don't get in the way when I work out, men don't talk to my chest, and I have almost zero sag at age 66. I'm watching reality TV shows about cosmetic surgery on Netflix right now and I just don't get the women who have breasts pretty much like mine and get implants to add 2 more cup sizes and suddenly they feel so much more self-confident. Self-confidence comes from the BRAIN, not the bustline.

Some style realizations:
1. I hate hate HATE my natural hair. It doesn’t cooperate with anything I do, regardless of how much time, effort, or product goes into it. If I want it curly, it gets frizzy and wavy; if I want it straight, it frizzes and tries to wave. I give up. It’s either getting shaved or relaxed, and I’m leaning toward relaxed. Sorry Pink - keep fighting the good fight. I’m gonna call the stylist today to see if I can get in on Sunday.... I’m eyeing a long pixie cut. 2. I need a wardrobe overhaul. Aside from the work cardigans I bought, I hate it all. I need new fashionable tops, 2-3 new pairs of casual pants, and some cute weekend gear (casual dresses and sandals)..... and “going out” clothes. (For those keeping track, things are on indefinite hold with Guy due to tons of stuff going on in his personal life that he needs to figure out on his own. It sucks and I miss him. Chapter isn’t closed necessarily but I can’t wait around in the meantime.)

Small boobs and hips does make buying a bathing suit nearly impossible.

I'm interested to see if the girls look different after the tummy tuck. The doctor said I would have a smaller more defined waist. And is it totally trife to wear a crop top at 40?

Please know all those bras for DD’s? 1) Huge numbers of women are larger than that, but our sizes literally don’t exist in regular stores. 2) Almost all those DD bras are made to look cute and start causing back issues after 10 min. Just put a bralette on your A cups and call it a day.

That sucks. I don’t mind shopping but no malls - too much walking and too many people! I tried the boutique option on Just Fab.... just, no. Apparently my style is so varied that I need to hand pick everything. I’ve been hardcore browsing Fashion Nova and Amazon. I put a bunch of stuff in my Amazon cart. I’m thinking I’ll just stick to the personal items I need from Amazon, and get the rest from a fashion site.
