Yeah I got her dressed, so when I find some pretty ribbon I'll try that. Colors I have here are bright hot colors, not appropriate for this. It actually wouldn't be that difficult to make her an outfit.

I bought a spool of ¼" or ½" satin ribbon to weave into the outer border of a baby afghan/throw.
Also some sheer ribbon to use for curtain tie-backs - I found both at WalMart in the crafting dept (where the yarn is), for a couple of $.
The ribbon selection they have (at least here) is quite large - and TONS of colors. Even a gold flecked ribbon might look nice on the off-white dress.

This is the other one. They get used everyday (made them almost two years ago) and are looking beat up, but damn are they comfy DS is sleeping with one tonight (think he's catching a cold) and is all snuggley at the moment.

If you use a washable Sayelle yarn, you can snap then back to new and refresh them in the washer/dryer like the rest of your laundry.
I wash the ones I've made that are being used regularly, since the kitty has a tendency to sleep on them - so I have to launder them every now and then to get the kitty hair out of them.
They come out of the dryer looking like they were just made.
