What?? No peanut butter? Amateur. Someone in the home may suffer from arachibutyrophobia! Wonder where you picked that word up from. I still hate peanut butter.

This summer, I am stage three...big time. I got rid of a TON when I moved, last month (my kids moved me). Now I can't find my iron, or so many other things.

Apparently, people think the Rapture is next Monday, during the eclipse.
We should all hide for the day, and leave random clothes around outside.

GROAN! That was bad! Or maybe I just think so because I live in an earthquake prone area?

I can't believe I used to swing so high on the playground then just jump off.
Those knees were fresh outta the box.

Back in the mid-'80s I lived in a high-rise apartment in New Haven, Ct. I was still drinking alcohol at the time. So I am in the apartment kitchen and had a few drinks, All of a sudden felt real dizzy and shaky and grabbed the edge of the kitchen sink to steady myself. Then I stopped feeling dizzy and shaky. I walked into the living room and saw the overhead light swaying back and forth. Later on that evening I learned there had been an earthquake in Quebec and it was felt all the way down to Long Island Sound. Here at least in west Tennessee, our home mortgages must carry earthquake insurance due to being near the New Madrid fault.

I don't like to fly, but if I catch a plane, can I stay at your house, for the eclipse? I'll go home on the first flight I can get there. 😉 I was going to dog sit for DD1 from Sunday to Wednesday. But they've canceled their trip, so I don't need to. I was dog sitting for DD1 in 2017, when the last solar eclipse went by too.

It's amazing how much you can accomplish around the house under the threat of someone coming over. I'll have the house cleaned up by late Thursday afternoon.

I was in Quebec when that happened. I had just come up to visit my parents from Los Angeles, where there are earthquakes all the time. The Quebec one was the worse one. It was pretty bad. There were injuries and death.

I should just come anyway, so we can meet in person! I tend to lose things when I do last minute cleaning, which really isn't helpful, so I'll spare you that.

Weltz-tomorrow's eclipse: did I see you and Montreal have 100% coverage tomorrow?
