Poor Virgil. Tries to provide a valuable resource for EE and indeed the rest of the boards, and it's turned to crap in 2 pages.

Here it is, in your back pocket the whole time. And I think there's another one in your bra.

No! I haven't been drinking because my dental implant failed so I had to go under the knife again. Things will be all better once the incision closes up.

This is a great morality tale for kids everywhere. Prioritize dental health over booze, and you end up like beerwench. Prioritize booze over dental health, and you end up like this:

Not to side track the thread, but are you talking about the kind of implant they do when you've lost a tooth & they drill it into your jaw? If so how did it fail? Just curious because I've been undergoing a shyt ton of dental work including this procedure.

Just curious because I've been undergoing a shyt ton of dental work including this procedure. I had an abscess develop 3 weeks post-op. So they removed the abutment until it cleared up and then I had to get it re-attached and they added more bone graft while they were in there. ETA: I am worried about getting another abscess so I am being a dutiful patient and following all the advice I could find out on the web. It may be overkill, but I don't think my gums can take any more stitches, honestly.

Oh Beer I feel for you. It was bad enough going through it once. Maybe all the vodka kept mine from abscessing

I've now updated the listing to include all of the small smileys, and a few more of the medium ones. Suggestions, constructive, earnest criticism are welcome.

Uh-oh. There's an Adrien-Brody-Lamed-1 if ever I saw one.
You're right, Virgil, this makes communication much easier.

No criticism - except the star also is used to flank the "POTD" commment - as in: POTD .

Poor Virgil. Tries to provide a valuable resource for EE and indeed the rest of the boards, and it's turned to crap in 2 pages. I see it now. That is where the issue is. The definitions apply on EE. I wouldn't even know this thread existed if Jim hadn't tagged me on it. I never post on EE. The people on it are vicious. I will stick to the P&M board. (Dang, which emoticon is appropriate here? )

No criticism - except the star also is used to flank the "POTD" commment - as in: POTD . Yes, but POTD is an award, and the stars are used as embellishments to draw attention to it. Both of those definitions are included.
