Crabby gave me some good news today. Maria Bartiromo is leaving CNBC. Yay! I can finally turn the volume back on for The Closing Bell. That woman has a voice that does not belong on the air. She screeches and has a horrid NY accent. Good Riddance. Anyone else find her obnoxious? tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=839658&ocid=ansent11

Well, she replaced Varney in the morning opening bell slot this week. Yesterday, she had a bad hair day.......... Varney is now backed up a couple of hours.

I haven't watched CNBC in a long time....and I never watched Maria. What an awful screaming voice. I don't watch Fox Business much either, and for the life of me I can't believe Cavuto hired that loud mouth. It certainly shows a lack of respect toward men if they hired to her draw in men viewers. Maybe the Money Honey will increase viewership, but I won't be one of them.
Then she has the nerve to show up on Cavuto in the afternoon EEEKKKKK

Then she has the nerve to show up on Cavuto in the afternoon EEEKKKKK Sort of surprised she got the Opening Bell slot at Fox. CNBC moved her from there years ago, and Fox shows a penchant for younger female reporters and the likes of Liz Clayman, etc. It is funny how many of these people, men and women, rotate between Fox Business, CNBC, Bloomberg Business. CNBC has plenty of Bloomberg people, and many CNBC people are now at Fox. Some Fox people are now at CNBC. Comcast dropped Bloomberg from our cable package recently, so I do not know if they recently picked up drop offs from Fox or CNBC, but they seemed to have the newer unknown faces. Probably cheaper costs for the reporters they used. I channel flipped between all three of my week day day offs, using all three sources. I liked Bloomberg in the early reporting hours, but they lost me in the afternoon west coast segments. Regardless, CNBC has probably picked up many Fox viewers in the Opening Bell slot this week due to Maria replacing Varney this week.
