"WMDs" in Iraq... was a LIE.
I don't believe that Prez Obama deliberately misled Americans in the manner that bush/CHENEY did.

Oh, I forgot. Two wrongs now make a right, don't they? Don't open up that can of worms to distract from what's going on today. If you want to say that Obama didn't do it deliberately, please post your evidence and line of reasoning (I won't hold my breath). As I've said, it has already been pointed out that Obamacare litterally does not work if people can keep the plans they already had. It is already known that the Obama administration knew all of this but chose to continue the "keep your plan" mantra. It is already known that they figured the majority of plans would get cancelled or changed.
That Obama lied is not up for debate. He only came out and took responsibility once it became clear that there was a good chance Congress was going to pass a "keep your plan" amendment that would effectively make it impossible for Obamacare to work.

I originally thought that once the rollout began, then Obama would be in the clear. The more this goes along, the worse this gets for him. Even if he can get thru this hurdle, then next bump is going to be the enormous amount that it will add to the deficit.

No, it's all paid for! It won't increase the debt at all! They promised! Besides, I'm now told that this plan is actually Romneycare, and it's a Republican plan!

Oh, I forgot. Two wrongs now make a right, don't they? i don't think that is the point. well, i should not pretend to speak for others, but when i bring up the WMD lie, it is NOT to excuse Obama's. it is to point out two things: one- that politicians lie, and two- that some lies kill tens of thousands of children, women, and non-combatants, and others don't.

Allen Grayson said that 45,000 people a year die because they don't have healthcare. It was assumed that he basically just took a guesstimate and then added another 35K to it for dramatic effect. So it'd probably be safe to say if health starts consuming more and more of the national budget, that other things will have to be sacrificed......and people will die. Possibly like a million people...all because of Obamacare.

Well, since I don't want to rain on Paul's "Obamacare- epic fail" thread (or whatever he titles it now) I will posit this here.
This gives President Obama the perfect opportunity for an end run around the whole rotten system:
Medicare, Part 1
Eligibility- People who are now ineligible for their former plan, or who would otherwise qualify for Medicaid had their states accepted the Federal program. Details, TBA.
He tried to expand medicare during the health care negotiations. You think he's going to be able to do it now? bwhahaha.

Governor Walker is proposing this with Badgercare for Wisconsin, although he has rather more traction with the legislature to enact that than does Obama with his.
