We have a store called Calico Corners. It is actually a fabric store, but they do custom upholstering. The pieces they do are scattered throughout the store. They aren't inexpensive, but neither are the pieces you want to buy. Don't you have something like that? I hadn't heard of it, but I did a search and we do have a calico corner and it's just up the street from me. It's closed on Sunday, but maybe I'll check it out next week. Looking at the website, nope definitely not cheap.

We have Calico Corners as well. Not cheap, but quality fabric and quality work....

3 grand for two chairs and an ottoman?
That's roughly what we paid for our big LA-Z-BOY sectional that includes 3 recliners. And we sat in it first (and it was heavenly!)
