Using the "Report to Mod" feature

At the bottom of each post, you will see a link to "report to mod" that can be used to bring attention to posts that fit the criteria as outlined below.


Report to Mod:
* Posts that are clearly against the CoC, such as personal attacks, racial slurs, excessively foul language, true (not perceived) harassment, attacks on another's religious beliefs, or posts which are right on the fringe of violation.
* Posts that are advertising spam
* Posts that are (potentially) best suited for the Adult board


Use PM to address:
* Whines about how a post is off topic
* Legitimate concerns about whether a newcomer is being treated harshly
* Concerns related to possible multi-nicking or trolling behavior
* Complaints about Mods being on power trips


Things best kept to yourself:
* When you think someone is "ignorant"
* When you think someone being mean, snarky or disrespectful.
* If you don't like someone or don't want them on "your board"


The bottom line is this - All of us are (supposedly) adults. You don't need to follow the people you don't like around, leaving snarky or bullying posts in your wake. You don't need to go out of your way to be a jerk in general. When you treat others with disrespect, do not come to us whining when the same gets done to you. What goes around, comes around.
