Really it's only maybe 10 days at the most, they can't kill me with hospital food in that short time.

When I had my DD, the hospital's french toast was delicious! In all seriousness, good luck that they get all the cancer and you have a speedy recovery. If not, we'll need to grab drama's 2 x 4.

I wouldn't bet on that. But if they try send out smoke signals and I'll buy a truckload of 2x4's and gather up the troops here. The EE freezer won't be big enough to hold the results!

It's late and Sugi probably won't see this for a while, but here's a hug anyway. Take care Sugi!

Pfft. You totally don't know Sugilite. The last time she went in for surgery was when her brother in law had accidentally fired a beaver through her chest (don't ask). The beaver was still alive and making it hard for the field medic-lumberjacks (that was all they had in northern Canada at the time) to pull him out. The head medic-lumberjack tells her they're going to have to kill the beaver because they don't have time to calm him down and administer anesthesia, and Sugilite looks at him like "Do I look like I need anethesia, you candy ass? Really?" So they performed the beaverectomy, got all the guts and organs back in, and sewed up Sugi's chest with some boot laces. Then they all had a beer, including the beaver, since Canadian beavers are pretty good at drinking beer. The point is that Sugilite's family beat each other with two-by-fours just to loosen up the muscles after a full day of lumberjacking. And no way is the Canadian government going to cough up the dough for that kind of luxury.

Make the nurses make you an orange cream, Sugi. Two little cups of vanilla ice cream, one little cup of orange sherbert, a bit o' milk, and stir the sucker. You can demand one every night! No nurse worth her salt can't make an orange cream!

LOL - I'm surprised you didn't make that creature a Moose. It would have made the story more authentic.
After all the Moose even have their own beer©.

After all the Moose even have their own beer©. I said one surgery ago, not two surgeries ago. And the moose died on impact. You need to get your facts straight.

Good luck, sugi! (and, virgil, can I have your dog when you die?) I think you should totally get Virgil's dog when he dies Apple. I just had a thought though, do you think Virgil knows that wherever you go in the afterlife you have to have at least two pet snow leopards?

They are. I love to give them and get them (except when it's DD and a stalling tactic - after the 4th or 5th time she comes out of her bed for one, we stop giving them to her and remind her she already got "her last one or the night" Do well Sugi. And heal FAST, we need you around here.

You guys are so... confident. Bye Sugilite... we'll see you in the next life... head to towards the white light... we'll hug you now because we may never hug you again... How about: Eat that cancer for breakfast, soldier! You will successfully undergo surgery and you will report back here at oh-twenty-one hundred hours tomorrow, or so help me I will find you in the hospital, choke your namby pamby doctors, and rip any remaining cancer out of your chest with my bare hands! Do you get me, soldier? ...bye Sugilite... if you see my cat 'twinkles' in heaven, say 'hi' to him... you'll always be here with us in spirit, Sugilite... Kick ass, soldier! I always suspected you were bi-polar or a bit skitzo. Disclaimer: This is not against anybody with real emotional medical problems. This is about Virgil and only Virgil and his "ways" which we adore. Usually. You merely suspected? Puh-leeze. Virgil was coo-coo as Coco Puffs from Day 1. Sending good thoughts and hugs to Sugi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope someone is near Sug who can keep us updated on how she's doing? Moonbeam is apparently going to be getting updates from a relative of Sugi's - and will update us if/when she gets word - in the Muffin Shop and on Sugi's Cancer thread (in Healthy Living/Physical Health)

Moonbeam posted an update earlier today on the Muffin Shop and also on Sugi's Cancer thread in Healthy living (Physical health).
She's out of surgery and (no doubt) resting & sleeping at this hour in her time-zone.

That's uncanny. When Sugilite says she's working on the computer, this is exactly how I picture it.

That's uncanny. When Sugilite says she's working on the computer, this is exactly how I picture it. It really is her. A family member sent it to me. We've known each other for, lets see..... um... yeah, for about... um... um... well, we've been BFF's for I'd say... Ahh Heck! That story isn't any more believable than Virgil's stories are! No one's gonna fall for THAT!
