I just meant the existence of it. ok. got it.Of course! But overally, the economy moves up and down regardless. People give Presidents way too much credit (or blame). Although I consider the current gov't (not just Obama) an exception. I think we've made the current situation worse than it needed to be. maybe. but we could have made it worseR, too. i dunno, ib. like you say, presidents can't do much- other than "set the tone". part of what made Reagan exceptional is that he infused us with optimism. i think that made a difference. alot of this stuff boils down to consumer sentiment, in an economy that is 2/3 consumer driven. so, in a sense, it doesn't matter if Obama is a commie or not, so long as he is a SUNNY commie.

Bernays was a big figure in that. as well as that computer scientist/sociopath that is the subject of A Beautiful Mind. can't remember his name.

Good night friends. His name is "John Nash". dj en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Forbes_Nash,_Jr. John Forbes Nash, Jr. (born June 13, 1928) is an American mathematician whose works in game theory, differential geometry, and partial differential equations have provided insight into the forces that govern chance and events inside complex systems in daily life. His theories are used in market economics, computing, evolutionary biology, artificial intelligence, accounting, politics and military theory. Serving as a Senior Research Mathematician at Princeton University during the latter part of his life, he shared the 1994 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with game theorists Reinhard Selten and John Harsanyi.Nash is the subject of the Hollywood movie A Beautiful Mind. The film, loosely based on the biography of the same name, focuses on Nash's mathematical genius and struggle with schizophrenia.[1][2][3]

Sorry but that is not a link sir. You posted a web address as the possible source but I went to that address when you posted it several days ago but could find no link to this chart or it's source. It's challenging to have any beneficial discussions like this.

The challenge is to have very limited time and then to find statements posted that are in fact not factual at all. It immediately makes me question if every statement needs verified before responding and if it really is worth having the discussion at all.

i maintain that GWB was just a figurehead, a "beard" used to disguise the fact that that the unelectable Dick Cheney and his cronies were directing affairs... and enriching themselves while running the USA into the ground.

As long as you're open to the idea that Obama is a foreign-born Muslim, and that Hillary was in charge in the 90s, I'll give you that.
