The proverbial gun needs to point both ways, as I see it. Corporations benefit by hiring illegals. There's no question about that, and corporations are there for ... profits. ... A combination of financial and personal disincentives for corporate officials who oversee companies who hire illegals will stop them from hiring them. Illegals will send themselves back across the border when no jobs are available for them.

Some day our children's children will thank us for not draining the oil fields in the United States at this early point in increasing world demand simply so that we can have cheaper oil. Some resources are finite.

I wonder if it will be all about him- like yesterday?? That may be why he and Obama are bumping heads. Both have the ME ME ME syndrome. People don't like that.

Mubarak Will Step Down TonightI think someone needs to re-title this thread: Mubarak Will Step Down Tomorrow Technically, when you wrote this, it was already tomorrow in Egypt. So if Mubarak does step down during Egypt's Friday hours, the title could still be valid. JMOP.

What I am saying is what I said. Obama talks about himself a lot. So did Mubarek yesterday. Off topic, but-- did you just say something nice to PI?? I'll be damned, and throw you an exalt-- a first for me.

Stay tuned!

This is what I could not find the words to express yesterday about Iran. Here it is, well written. apnews.myway.com/article/20110211/D9LAIKV80.htmlAhmadinejad: Egyptian protests herald new Mideast Feb 11, 7:24 AM (ET) TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's president said Friday that Egypt's popular uprising shows a new Islamic Middle East is emerging, one that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claims will have no signs of Israel and U.S. "interference."... ...Tens of thousands marched down Tehran's main boulevard in state-organized anniversary festivities, chanting in support of Egyptian anti-government protesters. Some Iranians set an effigy of Mubarak on fire while others shouted: "Hosni non-Mubarak, 'Mubarak' (congratulations) on the uprising of your people."... ..."Despite all the (West's) complicated and satanic designs ... a new Middle East is emerging without the Zionist regime and U.S. interference, a place where the arrogant powers will have no place," Ahmadinejad told the crowd.... ...After his address, Ahmadinejad carried a placard reading, "Death to Israel." Much more... Now I know many of you do not want to give Israel money any more, some even think Israel is a terrorist nation because of the whole Palestinian issue, but SURELY no one can approve of this??? I have heard it denied and denied and DENIED on the boards-- but over and over again Iran has said it will push Israel into the sea-- and that is the MILD interpretation of what he says that anti-Israel people seem to be able to stomach.

Latest news is that Swiss Government is asking their banks to look for accounts belonging or suspected of belonging to Mubarak and his family and freeze them so transfers can't take place..
I am guessing if there are accounts..will freeze until it's seen as to how legitimatly they are in belonging to what parties.
