What is your favorite pizza type (thick/thin/light/dark crust, toppings, etc.)?

What is your favorite pizza type (thick/thin/light/dark crust, toppings, etc.)? No thin crust, other versions are fine. No anchovies or green bell peppers or fruit. Fruit has no business on pizza! Everything else is fine.

I love all pizza pretty much. I love Pizza Hut's thick crust pan pizza, but I also love the greasy New York style pizzas too. My favorite toppings are pepperoni and mushroom and I also like to add fresh basil, onion, tomatoes, spinach, and bell peppers on occasion. We have pizza often.

a local joint DH and I like make some outstanding white sauce pizzas (thin New York-style crust, of course). One weekend they made a margherita with vodka sauce and I had a slice.... OMG, if I could marry a food, it would be that pizza.

There's not a single veggie I will eat on a pizza, and no fruit (namely olives) except for pineapple with Canadian bacon.

OMG, I love white/tomato, white/broccoli, and white/spinach! But you can't just slap the veggies on, they at least have to be sauteed with garlic and olive oil.
Mad Dawg, so you won't eat a supreme pizza?

Thin.
I like most toppings, but I am not a big fan of greasy meats like peperoni, sausage, meatball, etc.
We made a brussel sprout and butternut squash pizza with a garlic oil sauce the other night that was freaking amazing.

I like thin crust (sorry CL), but a good one is hard to find in NY. I'm not all that crazy about Domino's or Pizza hut, so I just settle for a regular/thick crust. My favorite toppings are pepperoni or sausage; no peppers, onions, etc.

I know it Jen. Believe it or not, the best I ever had was back in Florida. The restaurant was opened in the early 1950's by a guy from Chicago, which is a place I never associated with thin pizza, but his was the best. They would run the dough through special machines to flatten it out "just right" for a perfect crust. A little crispy on the bottom, and a little chewy under the sauce. They were even great after being in the fridge over night.
BTW; my Mom was a waitress there. She started there before I was born. After my Dad died, she had to work 16-18 hour days there. When the owner got diabetes and lost both legs, she then had to care for him and run the restaurant (he had lived in the back of the place). When he passed away, he left the place to my Mom and she ran it for over 10 years before she retired.

I posted this on a thread a few weeks ago. THere is a local place that has non standard toppings. Roasted garlic, mushrooms and spinach is my favorite. Of course the feta cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts is good too.

Mad - I just exhaulted you for your comment about brussels spouts.
I like a thin chewy crust with almost anything except anchovies. My favorite is sausage (crumbled, not sliced please) and pepperoni. And the pepperoni should not be under the cheese so it gets slightly cooked.
We have a Greek restaurant near us that makes awesome pizza. Maybe I'll have to stop there after work - wonder if my chauffeur will object to the extra stop?

Either Pizza King cheese pizza or my great uncle's pizza with pepperoni and cooked to well done (slightly burned around the edges), sometimes I get hamburger and onion.
I don't mind Dominoes once and awhile, I like thier thin crust cheddar cheese pizza. Papa John's six cheese with pan crust is decent.

I haven't had Dominoes in like 25 years. Maybe I should give them another try. We also have Little Ceasar's out here. It's gut-bomb, but it's only $5.99 for a large pepperoni or plain cheese.
