Here's the link, for linkers. www.ft.com/cms/s/0/1861524a-330c-11e0-9a61-00144feabdc0.html#axzz1DRLKGJGDYou don't have to pay to view this article, but I think you do have to register with the Financial Times, a world class financial information company. But an opinion piece, nonetheless. As it says, the US dollar is strong, comparatively. It also notes that equities are positive, including the US stock market as well as certain metals. Sometimes, divergences go to convergences for a while. That is now. May not last long, though. Theoretical weakness in the dollar must be balanced by the relative strength/weakness of other currencies. That is the issue that the doom and gloomers fail to recognize. For example, I am making fair returns with a small holding of the Australian dollar vs the $US, yet the US dollar remains strong overall. Certainly the failed fiat currency argument about the US dollar has no current trend support.

The FT doesn't default every opinion to a USD perspective. They report it in their US paper editions, so that Americans have a worldwide view about it.
The rest of the world does not have the amerocentric opinion that many of us have concerning currencies or general monetary activities. Americans as a group have a pretty narrow view of world economies. And a very self centered view.

What can you say the Socialist did a great job of convincing people that are way of life is screwed up, and having slaves isn't... Canadians are just bad, in my province probably worse.... Lucky for all of us that without capital the show can't go on.
