I didn't like my lunch yesterday so I went up to the cafeteria and got a turkey burger. Today I have the same lunch, but I had a plain blueberry bagel left over from the morning birthday bagels instead of my crappy sandwich.

I like my lunch, but my DH has a 1:30 dr appt, so I asked him to come into town early and we could eat lunch together and actually have a private conversation for the first time in 6 days.

I was so excited to eat lunch, then I realized I brought a steak salad instead of a peanut butter sandwich. Yes, I would rather have the peanut butter. But I need to lose 5 pounds.

I don't eat lunch so I'm neutral on the subject.

The last time I passed out from low blood sugar I gave myself a concussion when I hit the concrete floor. So yeah skipping meals is bad for me. Lunch will be a turkey sub from Subway and an apple scarfed down before my 130 hair appt.

I wish my lunch were more than a green salad, but I've lost 17 lbs. with 5:2 fasting (I have 2 days a week where I try to keep my calorie intake below 1,000 and eat normally the rest of the week). I sure like the results so I'll deal with it.

I brought a turkey sandwich and yogurt. And I ate it instead of running out because I'm trying to not gain any weight. it was boring and not super tasty and I still wish I would have gone for soup and salad at the local place. Maybe I can convince DH to go out for dinner to make up for eating my boring lunch

Leftover homemade Chinese food (chicken stirfry) and an apple. It's good for me and I get to be all superior and snarky because my coworker is buying lunch out - again. And bitching about the cost of her new truck and the five-year loan she had to take out for it.

ham and moz. cheese toasted in the toaster oven, 2 carrots, a small bag of Cars shaped pretzels definitely beat the frozen dinners I've got here. But now I'm out of ham so I guess tomorrow is a frozen dinner. And I've got a yogurt for my afternoon snack around 2pm.

Left over tortellini, spinach and garlic in a chicken broth soup. It was just as good the second time around.

You don't even have to drain the pan after frying it. Mix in uncooked rice, spaghetti sauce, a bunch of chopped veggies and some ground habenero for a little kick, let it simmer for 45 minutes, then top with mozzarella cheese. Goat Casserole!

Ok. I'd try it but wouldn't expect a whole lot. I'm not a fan of gyro meat, which I believe is also goat.

I had a turkey sandwich, Cheetos and chocolate covered almonds for lunch. I wanted a ham sandwich with tomato soup though.

Gyro? Is that the same as souvlaki? Up here, it's usually chicken or pork.
