Can't remember. With the days getting shorter now it would be easy to do if I could remember to do it. My usual wake-up time is 5am and we are in bed by 9pm. That's what happens as we get older. Sun goes down and so do I. How nasty is the local election campaign going in your area? Getting pretty bad here.

that's a good question. I would answer about normal. However I will mention I noticed theire are quite a few NON-politician, or Businessmen in the race. Question: when was the last time someone has told you - I Love You?

My kids tell me that whenever we talk on the phone. Last time? A couple of days ago.
It's been hotter than usual where I live? What about your area -- is the weather typical for your neck of the woods?
(Anyway, hot = beach weather. I must make it a priority to get to the beach, or at least a beach town, once a week. That was the original idea but life took over.)

Some people here think it's been "hotter than usual", but it's actually just been hotter than the last couple years. More like weather we had when my son was younger (I remember ball games when it was still 108 at 7 at night.) I definitely could have continued that cooler trend, I hate the heat!
Are you in an area dealing with smokey air right now?

funny! sorry for laughing if you are taking your question seriously? smokey air like pollution, or forest fires, or maybe fog, or building(s) burning? LOL Over in NY they are. lots of building have been on fire this past week. then again a few houses in NJ has been on fire. but I will answer no not really in the area I live in.
Question: do you still have your stuffed animals you have been given as a child or relationship(s)?

(We've been on fire here for weeks, saw the first blue sky this weekend for a few hours when we drove over 3 1/2 hours away, so yeah, the question was a serious one. Makes it hard to breathe out there!)
I have a stuffed frog from when I was a kid, as well as a stuffed elephant a friend gave to me a few years ago. I've mostly gotten rid of the stuffed animals the last few years. I have a couple others I've picked up on my travels though.

It's been years since seeing one in "person" but was watching nature show the other night and water falls were featured. Does that count?
Have you ever been white water rafting?

I have not. I went with my BIL in his kayak years ago to "float the river" and nearly drowned. That was enough for me. Any fun or out of the ordinary plans this 3-day weekend?

I did have plans. I have to calm my F-ing nerves. because my job is literally killing me through stress! I was planning to stay for two days at a cheap ghetto ass hotel at the boardwalk. then pretend not to see all the women dressed for the beach. LOL no Zaire! Me2 movement! look but NOT stare and keep your tongue from hanging out!
Question: how do you dress when running errands to keep cooler?

I mostly try to complete errands in the morning, including those in the big city aka the blast furnace, before it gets too hot. If not, short sleeves and sandals usually work. When is the last time you stopped to smell the roses?

We have beautiful roses growing outside the back door …. so literally almost every day. When do I sit back and take life easy? I try to have some down time each day to cleanse my mind and soul.
What is your mood today? Happy? Sad? Thoughtful? Remembering? Joyful?

Can't remember ……. probably in high school late 1950s. I was in 10th grade my first real boyfriend and both of us very shy in the dating field. Next real boyfriend was 12th grade and still sorta shy. A couple of years later I met DH#1 and ……… on top of the world.

Halloween decoration? maybe yes? I pull out my Halloween shower curtain and light a small pumpkin spice candle(s) the for the entire month of October. kids stopping by for treats is fading out. every year. I think the only thing that is keeping this outdated tradition alive is TV Shows and Movies.
Question: have you noticed other out dated traditions that are fading away?

Hadn't thought about it but you are right - also more planned things at Halloween for kids I think because of safety reasons. Will have to think about your question and get back to you on that - hey it's early and I'm not fully awake yet.

I guess this question was still on my brain when I went to sleep? When I woke up this morning with thoughts of. there will never be any more pirates with wooden ships and cannon balls. there will absolutely never be any more thousands men storming the castle with swords, and shields! LOL that shit is well over and done. So therefore. Hey Queen Elizabeth you really don't need your soldiers dressed in extremely outdated uniforms protecting your castle.

nah- no hurricane issues for me in NJ. but lets say if I were in the situation. Lets see it this way. Every single year we have a hurricane. it is called Hurricane season! like winter season, and summer season. every year people are told to evacuate. the people that stay. I think the #1 reason people stay. are the people that start off saying I have lived here for 20, 10, 18, 30, years ECT. and have made it every year and there is no need to evacuate. #2 reason not to evacuate is. I have no money other than what is in my pocket! LOL therefore it depends. I would stay if I am in the group of people to evacuate. but every year it's mostly a safety precaution, no need to take the chance and stay. I would stay. it has not been a time, yet to actually leave. now on the flip side. if there was only one time where I was actually trapped and wished I had evacuated. - LOL yea, I'm out! LOL what preps I would have made? take everything off the floor(s) and put them up high! Question: do you know of any product that works as advertised?

HA! If I had to guess, either 7 am or 11 pm. I work a rotating 12 hour shift, so my bedtime is pretty much whenever I feel too tired to stay awake. It also means lots of random naps.
Since it's almost October, do you enjoy scary/Halloween stuff?

Nope, Nope, NOPE! I do not enjoy scary Halloween stuff. funny thing is I am actually forcing myself to watch scary movies on my Netflix list. I just saw Mother this weekend. I deleted the last recent Amityville movie. I was going to watch this October 2018.
Question: besides the grocery store to purchase groceries. what store do you physically go to every month for shopping?

answer: positive from the current weekend. 1. getting used to the prescription medication recently prescribed. 2. got a great scented Yankee Candle that is a new scent. 3. countdown to my last day working at a horrible job is getting much closer. 4. my x actually called me to talk about nothing. and we laughed and had a good conversation for close to 2 hours. Comment: I see these commercials for women underwear. cause basically. that is what a bra is. LOL question: is there sexy underwear a man can wear?

None that I have seen. But I don't go to any 'sex shops' where things like that might be found. The closest I've been to anything like that is Bourbon St after dark in New Orleans. I was forewarned by a friend to stay away from the back of some of the shops. The farther back you go, the raunchier it gets.

Umbrella but it's never where I need it. Don't own a raincoat - from someone who live in city that has 65" rainfall a year!! But being retired if it's pouring rain I just say to heck with it and stay in.
Or you planning to decorate/party for Halloween?

As a matter of fact, we decorated yesterday for our annual Halloween bash later this month. People drive from as far as 3 hours away to attend. Cannot wait!
Favorite candy?
