In Laws are coming to stay with us for a bit. We're hosting dinners both nights with different groups of family members (one small dining table, can truly only cram so many in). I enjoy cooking and am looking forward to being able to spend some time alone with MIL which doesn't happen often since she and FIL are glued at the hip  |

Hi capt! For me, today, i am taking my car to the garage for some work. Then, i have to go to the hosptial for some blood work. Tonight, DD, DH and i are going to the High School play. Tomorrow am, my dd is playing basketball in the Y league and Dh and I are assistant coaches so we are hoping for a good game. Then, the family is taking me out for my Birthday dinner and a beautiful Inn that overlooks the river. Sunday is church. And, Sunday is "cooking day" for me and my daughter while the boys watch football.  |

Hi Peeps! What are your plans for the weekend? Gaga baby, I want to hang out with you at your dad's new restaurant...do you have anything to recommend. But seriously...I will put up the Christmas lights and decorations tomorrow (it will be December, after all), and my rule of thumb is "less is more", be elegant not gaudy. Tomorrow night we will see the new James Bond Flick, Skyfall and on Sunday I'm with my kids and they usually plan the day for us...they are at that age. I'm also starting to think about the infamous, "make a list of the ten things you want for Christmas, you know there is a dollar limit and you will only get as much as the budget allows". |
