So far I've went 14 days on one tank, as I'm cutting down on my shopping. I'm starting to like being able to relax and not have to go anywhere. it's making me feel better and the stress is lightening up a bit:)

Hey Insurance gal:) I'm trying to do what Bobby's Girl said about not running around as much. It's really paying off more ways than one:)

I'm lucky to get two weeks and my car is good on gas. And I don't want to stay in more. I would be a hermit.

We'd get a week maybe. But I have to go all over our county everyday almost so there is no cutting it out. Well come summer time I will. I won't be working at one school and taking kids to the two other schools. I enjoy summer.

I can get anywhere from a week to two. A big part of it depends on whether or not I drive to work at all during the week, or if I'm going anywhere on the weekend.

My car has 18,500 miles on it ~ and it's 5 years old. (I'm not a big driver!) Still, at 23mpg, I do seem to need to fill up every 3 weeks or so, depending on where I'm driving to! Some places, like the feed store where I buy duck food and bird seed and squirrel peanuts, is a good 20 miles, roundtrip.

Oh boy...I don't think I am going to tell how long I can go on a tank.

Our primary vehicle can get DH to work and back 7 times (45-mile round trip commute). Factoring in church, and assuming we were to run our errands on the way home from work and church, we'd fill up every 8 days. Until I get a job, the back-up vehicle only gets used if I need to run an errand during the day, so a tank of gas lasts over a month.

I used to use at least two tanks a week. Now that I'm in a vanpool I can get a few weeks out of one tank--HUGE difference. I'll probably be at a tank a week in the summer though, as I'll be taking more trips to the property--it's a 35 minute drive from home, but the last 15 minutes is about 8 miles straight up through curves (I go from about 200 feet above sea level to 2300/2400 feet above sea level in those 8 miles). On the way down the hill I usually just put it in neutral and coast. There is only one stop sign where I have to put it back in gear and push the gas to get going again, the rest I can coast at or above the speed limit, I figure that helps counteract all the gas I use to get up the hill.

I fill up, usually, once a month & even then it's at 3/4 tank. Fairly small town. I did make up for it by driving to Vegas last month, though.

Wow, am I jealous! I fill up about once a week, sometimes more! And my car is pretty good on gas! I work 18 miles, one way, from home and have to drive my own vehicle fairly often to see clients during the week.

Have to keep the beast full during the winter, you just never know on these roads! The other 3 seasons of the year it depends on calendar of events for our family. Usually about 2 weeks for the family car; hubby has to fill up once a week on his little commuter car with the tiny tank. The commuter is 14 years old and cheap to run, would love a hybrid or electric car, but they are sooo much $$$ it is tough to find the payback/savings in them right now.

Wow, am I jealous! I fill up about once a week, sometimes more! And my car is pretty good on gas! I work 18 miles, one way, from home and have to drive my own vehicle fairly often to see clients during the week. I clocked my drive this morning...32.5 miles from driveway to parking spot. One way. On Tues and Thurs I have to head to campus from work in late morning, located roughly 1/2 way between work and home, and head back to work after class, and then home after work. I am going to clock that total round trip next week. On Fridays I carpool with DH, but we can't take the little Ranger that day because we take a circuitous route home to pick up his son for the weekend. On Sundays he takes his son back home. I do my driving in an Expedition, and have to fill the truck at least every 4 days. It is NOT very good on gas DH wants to sell it and get something with better gas mileage, but I asked him to wait until my term is over at the beginning of May, because I need to be sure I have reliable transportation to work and school 4 days a week. When school is not in session we carpool together in the Ranger.

I can only make 6/7 days before I have to fill up. That is an 80 mile roundtrip for work and a car that gets about 25 mpg with an 18 gallon tank. Plus 40 mile roundtrip if I want groceries on the weekend.

A tank of gas in my SUV will last approx 300 miles, mostly local stop/go traffic ... so about 10 days-14 days is what I can expect if nothing out of the ordinary comes up.

I average 10 to 12 days on a fill up. I only work 7 miles from home but with all of the kids activities I end up carting them a few places every week.

I am lucky to go 5 days back and forth to work. This is with no extra driving at all.

10 days, give or take. It's small car with good gas mileage, but I work two jobs. Hubby is retired, which has really cut down on our gas consumption (!). I am walking to errands as much as possible, and doing some of them close by work on my lunch time or on my way home from work.

I have half a tank and last bought gas on January 13. Of course, I have been out of the country for two weeks since then, too. Normally, I fill up about every 10 days. I drive 40 miles round-trip to work.

I fill my honda civic 2 door hatchback up about once a month. I work less than 4 miles from home. I bought the car a little over 4 years ago and it had 31k on it. It now has 52k. I don't drive much. I use the car for getting to and from work and the Y and in town errands.
We also have a Subaru forester. But DBF has a company van for work. We use the Forester for winter weather and road trips. So how much we have to fill it up depends on if we are doing any traveling or how much it is snowing.

I have to fill up every 8 - 10 days. We tend to stay home once we get home - especially with this crappy weather.

About 2 weeks, sometimes a little more if I have a day off work. I have a pretty short commute, but I typically fill up twice a month.

ususally about 10 days-I use more now that I make a number of home visits each week, but I do get reimbursed for mileage.

I live less than a mile from my job so I can make a tank last a month if I don't go out-of-town.

I can go 350-400 miles so about a week is all. 90 % of that is just getting to and from work. blech!

I can get a month out of a tank, but keep it full this time of the year. I plan all my errands once a week in town, about 8 miles away. The only other thing that is important to me is seeing my grands who are 18 miles away. Other wise I am a home body and love it. DH liked to go for coffee every morning, so we used more then.

A tank will last about a week if I'm just driving to/from work. If I have to do any driving for work, well, it could be that I fill up twice in a week.

I'm not sure how long mine will last now. I just started a class twice a week in a town 25 mi. away. Before that, maybe would last a month.
