$60 every six weeks, and that's for a wash, cut and style. I stopped coloring years ago, because I would have needed it every 2 weeks to keep up with the roots. Now I just call them silver-toned highlights.

Grates on my nerves. Thank god my daughter is a newborn and hopefully he'll disappear before she is old enough to get into his music.
C'mon Drama.....there will be another Justin Bieber clone in 12 years that will have your daughter ga-ga. It's inevitable!
Just think back to who the Justin Bieber was when you were 12ish.

Something tells me that he'll go for the whole douche beard.... Not for a while. His smooth boyish looks are part of his pre-teen draw. BTW, if any of you have kids who like Justin Bieber, and you're allowing this to continue, know that you're part of the problem. I've told my girls (15 and 10) that he'll end up like some of my teen idols - dead, in jail, drugged out, never heard from again or some combination of the above. Within 2 weeks, Bieber was on the news for something stupid (assault - I think) and pointed it out to them. They've since dropped talking about how awesome he is.

Anyone remember New Kids on the Block? Or Menudo featuring Enrique Martinez, n/k/a Ricky Martin?

New Kids on the Block came to Omaha recently. Wish I had gone, I was too young to see them in concert back in the 90's. DH said he'd rather kill himself. there will be another Justin Bieber clone in 12 years that will have your daughter ga-ga. It's inevitable!Doesn't mean I have to like him or his music!

With tip, $20 every two months. Every once in awhile, I treat myself to a hot shave for another $20 (including tip). I have never had a shave from a barbor..sorry I never had that experience...it's $20 today? I don't know any who would do that today...

With tip it runs $20 where I get it. It's very relaxing, and it's an awesome shave. It's one of those little luxuries that it's nice to treat yourself to.

I wear my hair long with long layers and I think last year I had it professionally cut about 3 times. I trim the ends on my own. I spend roughly $55-60 including tip. I color my own hair every 6 weeks or so for $9/box. Thanks, MM. You saved me a lot of typing! What she said.

I get cut, color & highlights 2x a year for $55 plus $20 tip. The stylist grew up in my hometown so she gives me a steep discount. In the cold months I nix the highlights and color it myself. This last time though for some reason the color didn't cover the gray at either temple, so I'm spot coloring today (2 weeks later). Not sure if I missed those areas or if it's becoming somewhat color resistant there. Last year I waited too long to make an appt and in desperation went someplace new. $120 plus tip for the same color, cut & highlights (lcol area). Grrrr. My hair is between chin/shoulder length in a blunt cut bob & stick straight. $18 plus tip for just the cut and style in the mos. I color it myself. My style isn't very forgiving of split ends or mis-cuts so I try to never hack at it myself.

I have no idea what just the hair cut costs. Cut, 2 color highlights, wash, and style with tip was $195 in December. Last time I strayed in desperation bc tax season hours made it impossible to get in, I paid $45 with tip and the cut ended up being crooked. My stylist hasn't moved but I would follow her. I guess I do sort of follow her bc I've moved 2x and I always drive back to her. I just make a mid morning appointment on a weekend I am going home. 3 hour drive and yes, I know people will think I'm insane. Its a nice little stop in the middle of what is otherwise a 5 hour drive home. I did it in December and yes, it was worth getting up at 6am to make a 10am appt My brother's been in DC for 5 years now and he's never gotten a hair cut here ever. He gets it done when he is home.

$15 including tip. Whenever my wife says it is too long. Hers includes coloring and I don't want to know. Although I think it is around $140.

I pay $40 with tip every 3 months. I love my stylist, and I would follow her (within reason), but thankfully she hasn't moved.

Wow. Never thought about it, but I've saved a lot of money. I haven't had a haircut in about three years and I trim my own beard as necessary.

Nothing. I cut my own hair. I got tired of paying the barber $8 to trim my hair with clippers, so I bought my own. I keep it "high & tight".

Nope! I remember Ricky Nelson, Elvis, The Everly Brothers, etc. ;D
DH cuts his own hair w/clippers & trims his beard at the same time. I pay $14 per cut about every 6-8 weeks. I gave up color that I did myself ($4 box or $8 frost kit)...too much trouble! BTW, Locks of Love won't take gray hair...neither will the other place!

Hmmm, my last cut and highlight was a month ago and costed $35. A haircut about 12 weeks prior to that was $10. I've been with the same stylist for 20 years, and now that she has a shop in her home the prices are lower than before.

$20.00 about every two months. The actual haircut is $14.00, and I tip well.
