There's always Michigan! Or Bismarck Oh Gawd. We started the month of October around 98 degrees for the first seven days. We will end the month of October hitting 32 degrees overnight on the 31st. I can empathize with zibazinski about the heat. It can be overwhelming.

Rain due tonight through Thursday morning. Then an overnight freeze ending the growing season.
This past Friday and Saturday it rained. Since Saturday afternoon it has been cloudy and damp enough to not to let the rainwater on my shrubbery to evaporate.

We had record breaking cold last week. 14 degrees F... the high that day was 28 degrees, I think. Wind chill made it 4 degrees. Too damn cold! Today is supposed to be in the 50's. Much better.

Still warm but not insanely hot like it has been. Comfortable with cool nights. They say we’re getting a cold front. We’ll see.

Better than your hot temps of the previous weeks? Yes but from hot to cold with no in between is hard. I hear you. In October, we had a number of days close to 100 degrees. By the beginning of November we had early morning lows in the teens. Where was our Fall weather? From A/C to furnace in just a matter of days. Close to 70 degrees here by Wednesday. I'll take it. My utility company won't be making any money off of me but I'm okay with that.

Boise, ID. High of 57 degrees F today and sunny with a low of 34. We have had about the same weather for 2 pleasant weeks.
October was unusually cold though. So this is a nice break before winter really starts. 61 tomorrow.

So this is a nice break before winter really starts. 61 tomorrow. Weather in SLC has been very much the same. The last 2 weeks of Oct were freezing! But the first 2 weeks of Nov have been great.

It’s going to be 81 today and 59 tonight which makes it hard to dress for a tree lighting/street carnival that I’m going to that starts at 3 pm.

And snow too. I suppose the skiers and whatnot love it, but I no longer do such things, so I wish it would stay in the mountains. It's been snowing for the last few days. It''s not too bad in my area, it's just enough to give you a false sense of security when you're driving. Several police cars were hit yesterday by out of control drivers, as they investigated other accidents. They say the snow is going to continue for the next week or so, and that the roads will be bad for anyone driving on Thanksgiving. Ugh.

The weather has been getting closer and closer to jumping to the plus side of Zero for about a week. Sadly it looks like that is going to happen today as a wet front is hitting us. Right now it's snowing but it's expected to change to rain later today and over night.

Weather Conditions: Environment Canada advises there is a weather system that will bring 5mm on rain on Friday throughout the day, 10mm overnight on Friday, and approximately 50mm of total precipitation on Saturday into Sunday morning widespread throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The heaviest rain (approximately 25mm) will occur on Saturday morning and afternoon with a very low risk of isolated thunderstorms that may bring an additional 15mm of rain. The rain on Saturday evening and overnight may change to freezing rain. The heavy rain and rise in temperatures to above zero degrees on Friday and Saturday will increase potential for ice jams throughout the jurisdiction. trca.ca/floods/64816/
