I think we were up to 90ºF today. Humidity 18%
At least it isn't humid. I feel like I'm going to drown when I get in real humid places. And I can't tell my sweat from the humidity. Seems like a vicious cycle.

We are in for a week long heat wave with Sunday topping at 97 degrees. The swimming pool with a lounge chair in the shade and I are going to become really good friends. During the week I'll be fine except for all the people that'll come into my office just to cool down → it never gets above 67 degrees in here even with a heater running from 6am (when colleague comes in) until 7pm (when I leave)

We are in Texas and its HOT! It's not only hot but humid. Conroe, Texas
Been working on rent duplex, so ok inside. Hubby leaving tomorrow,
I am waiting till new carpet and vinyl is put in front unit. Back is in
good condition, just mop and a bit of cleaning back there. Front
was bad, he cleaned and painted the week before I came down.
The garage the lady used as a separate room to smoke in. OH MY
GOD, DH had to scrub and scrub it to get the nicotine out, I didn't
see it but he said it was literally running down the walls. I did see
some he couldn't get, he got some kind of industrial cleaner. I used
denatured alcohol to clean the windows. I can only imagine what
that does to your lungs. He washed windows, also put up new blinds.
Yesterday I stripped wallpaper in the bathroom, he is skim coating it
today so he can paint. I am staining cabinets in the one unit. Not
perfect but looks better then they did. DD and I are going to run
around some after I get done in the next couple of days. Hubby is
taking dog back home with him, he has been a good animal.
I can't get in to check my email or anything, am at McDonalds now,
will try again later.
We are tired, working our tails off, but oh what an improvement. We
would have taken a beating on the sale as it was, terrible so now nice
clean, fresh inside and outside, neighbor will continue mowing for us
and keeping up the lawn till sold. No more houses down here after this,
YES!
Thought about going to Galveston, but hard to get back down this street and to park the motorhome so not sure. I have to be home next Monday for closing, is that week for post office. One of the guys we bought the old bank from had the gate for the vault and they are going to have it sandblasted so we can put it back and also the bars or grids or whatever they call them for the lobby. The historical society is getting all the old bank ledgers, they had already promised them, but we do have some of the old original checks.
Later all, have a good week.

It was mid90s here today. Very rare in this part of the state, no airconditioning so I have stayed carefully in front of my fan. Except this morning when I had to run some errands to get ready for my trip in 9 days. I went early to make sure I could park in the garage rather then in the sun. When I came out again heat reflection made it blistering hot and there were long lines waiting to get into the parking garage. So happy I did not end up in that line...
ETA: that staying in front of my fan worked out just fine. So much so that I missed that the high of the day topped out at 103F. Pwew, good thing I have enough fans for a small army

It's 90 and humid here. We've had hot humis weather for a couple of days now with late day showers. One tv channel is saying in the mid 80's tomorrow but another one is saying 90. Don't know which one to believe.

Today about 82 not supposed to be terribly hot like it has been.
Going to wash hubbys truck so I can use it, my car went to the shop.
How funny were talking on another section here and I said how it hadn't cost me anything and now the check engine light comes on. Should have kept my mouth shut. LOL!

With the remnants of Hurricane Harvey passing over us here in west Tennessee today and tonight, we have the following severe weather advisories this afternoon and tonight:
Tornado watch Flash flood watch Wind advisory Five to six inches of rain
I am not too bothered by the flash flood watch, rain or wind advisory, but I hate tornado watches.

Humid and about 80 here. We expect to have the rain tonight and tomorrow. With hurricane Irma coming west, we'll have to see if she comes this way or not.

We had the tornado warning (no damage) and then lost power at 1900 hours (local) until 1100 this morning. Fortunately, I didn't have to eat the ice cream in the freezer for lunch today so it wouldn't go to waste by melting.

Sunny and hot. Dry outside. It seems strange since this time three weeks ago, we were flooded in having just received 50" of rain.

COLD. I’m wearing long underwear to bed because I don’t have pajamas that are warm.
