Geez, and just when we were getting along so well.....seriously. I don't know if it's her or me (or both), but it sure has been nice.

If she is in Italy, I hope she's having the time of her life.

GG waving her hand. I'm right here at an outdoor cafe in Sorrento. We went to Pompeii today and my feet are killing me. But Pompeii was just mind boggling.

Our apartment doesn't have wifi, so we go to this cafe for a drink and to catch up with email.

Haven't seen the news. Was there an earthquake? I had an email from my son asking if we had felt anything.

What I do feel at 5:00 am are the vibrations from the church next door ringing their bells. It was so charming tbe first day or two....

Pasta - oh yes! I've has pasta filled with artichoke (very good). Last night I had ravioli with a simple sauce that was delicious. The appetizer was mussels with lemon. And the tomatoes taste like homegrown. Tonight our friends (we are travelling with) are cooking dinner.
