I did manage to get my hands on 3 of the .55 Pepsi q's so will use those for the 2L Diet Pepsi.
If anyone isn't going to use theirs, send me a PM and I'll send my addy. I'll use them right up! ;D |
Lena Murpath wanted the pepsi coupons. HTH

So, no takers for Pepsi coupons?? Lena You're a sweetie to offer them. I think it might be ohiositter whose DH drinks Mt. Dew (a Pepsi product). She does not post as often as she used to, so she may not have seen your post yet. If the coupons are only good on Pepsi and not Pepsi products, she may not want them. ETA: Okay, maybe it's murphath whose hubby drinks Mt. Dew. How to you guys remember all this stuff? I constantly suffer from mentalpause.

dancinmama,
I did the Lucerne deal.
Lucerne creamcheese tubs 8oz - 4*1.29 = 5.16 Lucerne yogurt plain - 1*2.79 = 2.79 Lucerne small icecream cups - 5* 0.59 = 2.95 (but I have the bill saying 1.95) calc is on original price and not sure if I have any J4U discounts.
SW pepper strips - 1*.25 = 0.25 (2.39 reg price -1.66 J4U disc- 0.48 20% off reg price) SW collard greens - 1*1.2 = 1.20 (1.50 reg price - 0.30 20% off reg price) SW mixed veggies - 1*.41 = 0.41 (1.59 reg price - .86 J4U disc - 0.32 20% off reg price)
2$ off 10 came off automatically for the Lucerne. I had a 2$ off 10 IPQ. Paid 7.76.
I may have to go back for the frozen vegetables, since 25c and 41 cents are hard to beat. ;D

Hi Lena,I will take the .55 Pepsi q's. I'll PM my address. Beachbum973: Thanks for sending me your Pepsi q's too! Saveinla: I saw that ICBINB deal and will probably hop on it. I also have the Target q for .75 off 2 which makes it even better! I'm torn though, because I like buying cage free eggs and I'm sure the free ones are those.

This cracks me up. DH is already hyper enough without caffeine added to his system. ;D I'm the "one glass/can a day" diet pepsi drinker in the house. Has nothing to do with dieting: my dad was diabetic and we grew up on diet sodas (or tonic as we called it in Massachusetts). It was our once a week treat on Saturday nights when my mom always made pizza. Funny the stuff one remembers, isn't it...

They will end up being $4 after the $2 auto Q and the $2 IP. The last time DH told me to buy only one pepper jack and then it turned out that he liked it A LOT and wished I had bought more. If I can find a way to get to just $10 by combining one block of pepper jack with something else, I'll do that; but I won't know until I check it all out.

I'd like to take a moment and thank all the ladies here for being so NICE!!!! I read that other YM thread about the guy who didn't like to use coupons. It's not just there, but on pretty much any thread I've ever seen that so many of the commenters are mean. They use sarcasm, call each other morons, and I feel like they're all yelling.
Here we all give our opinions in a very respectful, helpful, take it or leave it way, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Thanks.

I am so jealous of that deal, I am speechless........and a lot green with envy............ That is one of the things that I love about California...the alcohol deals in this state are AMAZING lol...I am thinking about doing this wine deal at Von's too...buy 6 bottles @ $4.50 plus 10% as $10/6 bottles electronic coupon from Just4U...it would come out to around $15 for 6 bottles... about $2.50/ea...sound good to anyone??? I guess it depends on how much wine you go through and how good the wine is. We don't drink a lot and aren't picky so this year and two years ago I was able to get wine for 50 cents (at an Albertsons in AZ) and 80 cents (at CVS in CA) per bottle after rebate. But these prices probably only come once a year. Also, I can get a bottle of Two-Buck-Chuck at Trader Joe's for $2 (in some states it's $3.) We drink it, use it for sangria and mulled wine, bring it to potlucks. But if you go through a lot then you might need to buy more at a higher price.

I have a MaxPerks question.....I joined up but haven't bought yet...I did turn in 10 ink cartridges the other day. I see the credit pending with some wording that is making me think they won't credit them to me until I've bought something. Does anyone know if that's right? I was hoping to stock those rewards with another 10 cartridges if I can get them next month and buy paper. I keep seeing if for @45 with $30 rewards so if I can do what I want I will pay $5 oop and get $30 rewards for a case of paper

MissHotTamale: And that is the absolute nicest discussion we've had on the topic on YM. I'm not sure which guy you're talking about because a couple have commented, but the usual shitdisturbers haven't chimed in which has made it A LOT more civil than other discussions.

I don't have an Office Max near but even if I did I would probably just recycle them at Staples as they don't have any restriction for it just the number per month. As far as other MaxPerks rewards though they do roll so that is a plus if you see something you need that is a decent price. the best site to explain the Office Supply stores that I have found so far is. You take the certificate to the store as it will have a code they have to type in (it is not attached to your card - pooh on that!). I would check at the end of the month and see if you earned a reward. The rewards are usually good for 90 days so don't let them expire.

I was unable to do the buy 8 get $8 off deal at Meijer this week. The bottom line of the items I wanted, was interested in & had coupons on was WAAAY too high for me and I would have had several items I can’t eat much of (pickles) or should not eat much of (lunch meat) or were really not needed. I sometimes wish I had a shopping buddy to share cost and volume with. I have offered to shop/share w/the older couple (remember, I’m on Medicare) down the block but been turned down.
As a result I have grocery $$ left this week. I am going to put at least some into my ‘for future stockpiling’ envelope.
This is another week where I am totally NOT impressed w/any of the grocery ads: natl, independent or produce market in my area. If I eliminate stops for a single item (which I am since it is so NOT worth the time & gas for stop n start driving) I am left w/Aldi, one independent & my fav produce market.
The BEST thing in my entire pile of ads was 4 individual coupons for $3 off the dinner buffet good for a month at a place I happen to like.

Well I went to Safeway yesterday and was very excited about going to buy salad dressing for $0.50 a bottle. When I got there, instead of the sale that was advertised ($0.99/bottle), it was 2/$5. I had a $1.00 off 2 bottles coupon, so I still bought it since I went out of my way to go to the store, but wasn't very happy. Does this happen often? This particular Safeway tends to treat customers like criminals, so I felt like talking to anyone working there would have been a complete waste of time.
ETA ahh so many typos. My brain isn't awake yet.

MEIJER SHOPPERS - Get 6 Free Dove Candy bars this week. Dove bars are 50c each. Buy 4 get 2 Free (my store didn't have signs). Use 2 x 50c/2 IPs to get 6 free.
Buy 2 ICBINB, get free Meijer Bread. My store had signs by the Meijer Organics bread, so that Organics are included as well. I paid $1.50 for 2 ICBINB and a loaf Organics bread ($2.99).

All the sales on ICBINB make me wish I used it I wound up deciding to do more at CVS than I had planned, because I kept reading about deals. So this is what I did: Colgate toothpastes 2*$2.99, -$2.50 in Qs, = $3.48 Venus razor 1*$6.89, -$1 Q, = $5.89 Covergirl eyeliner 2*$4.99, -$2 in Qs = $7.98 Nivea hand lotion 2*$4.79, -$3 in Qs = $6.58 Subtotal 23.93 Used a $4 off $20 Q Used a 10% off beauty Q which took off $2.96 OOP $16.97, got back $17.98 in EBs (~$1MM) I'm going to buy 2 more toothpastes and another razor with DBF's card, which will come out about even in OOP and EBs.

GIANT EAGLE Shoppers - starting tomorrow, there are a couple good deals. Betty Crocker snacks (gummies) - 4/$4 (you must buy 4). There are .60/2 q's @ bettycrocker.com which will double and make them .40 per box. Cherrio's - $2 - .60 q @ bettycrocker.com = .80 per box I think there will be more deals (finally!), but these 2 definitely caught my eye this week. I rarely buy gummies for my kids, but at this price - I'm definitely getting 4 (maybe 8 - and hide them).

If anyone uses Discover Card, 5% cashback this month on groceries. I got some really nice Kroger coupons in the mail today. I might have to check out their sales this month.

Dancinmama: Thanks for the heads up on the ICBINB. I decided not to drive to Target as I've been waiting for Safeway to have this sale. That's how I stocked up last time. I have two $1.25 q's so will get the tubs for .74 each. AND, Egglands cage free brown eggs are on sale this week at Raleys and there were q's in last week's inserts! Yea! They'll be @ $2.25 for a dozen after q which is a great price for those eggs.

I don't know any other reason for the difference.

All the sales on ICBINB make me wish I used it This was our spread of choice until my stockpile was getting low and there was a killer sale combined with a high valued coupon for Land o Lakes fresh buttery spread. Now, DH likes that one better, but there are rarely coupons for it, so now we're back to ICBINB. They must be trying to gain market share because that $1.25/1 coupon is so much higher than what we normally have gotten in the past.

The good thing about buying it at Safeway is that you will have the choice of different varieties; at Target (at mine anyway) you can only get the regular, not the light or with olive oil. ETA: I'm going to go in on Sunday night in the hopes that I can get a rain check in case that $1.25 coupon reloads.

That was my plan beachbum - thanks! I'm about halfway there already, so I might do one at DBF's address if I can manage it. I got a booklet of Target Qs last night with the free beauty sample kit, and one is for $2 off Olay...if I can combine it with a good sale and the $3/2 Q, I will be nearly done.
