Twice I've put liquids in the blender and turned it on - and forgot to put the top on. What a mess.

Seriously? You just soaked it in baking soda? (Don't make me read all this - I have a very slow connection right now and it will take all night.) Yay Meghan!!!

I think my sister was a kitchen accident but my Mom swears it was planned.

Yeah, I almost mentioned the kitchen table, and decided to spare you that thought. LOL!

POM I threw some warm water and baking soda in the skillet and simmered it. I was stirring it a few minutes later to make sure the baking soda was mixing in and I noticed I could scrape the stuff off. I let it cook for a few more minutes and then dumped it and wiped the gunk off with a sponge. Worked wonderfully!

The pan may have sat in my sink and dishwasher for awhile. I kept filling it with hot water and stuff trying to get it clean. When I got back home last weekend I started googling to see how to get the darn thing clean.
