If we go back to the first post on this thread, the theme is that China has a new stance on terrorism and how it relates to how they plan on dealing with their expansion. Since there is Islamic terrorist pissing China off in parts of their own country, it is coming as no surprise that the uprisings are not producing the results that Iran was hoping for, in fact, in the case of Egypt; it's having the opposite effect. Because the Muslims haven't been able to magically fix all the problems that were they before, they are finding out just how fast a population can turn on its leaders. Since Iran isn't getting what they want, they are saying they want peace and testing long range missiles. Islam won't be basis of new Tunisian constitution www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ioy-fwzh3zsX_YBzfumodZojQq9A?docId=c66190711b494c269cef1488f8868ef5Tunisia Rules Out Sharia-Based Constitution www.eurasiareview.com/04042012-tunisia-rules-out-sharia-based-constitution/IRAN CONDUCTS THIRD ROUND OF MISSILE TESTS sfluxe.com/2012/04/05/iran-conducts-third-round-of-missile-tests-world-news-today/The Muslim Brotherhood's Power Struggle www.newsmax.com/TawfikHamid/Muslim-Brotherhood-Egypt-Shariah/2012/03/26/id/433918The image of the Islamists in general had another setback due to the actions of some Islamic members such as al-Baklimi (Salafi), who lied to the public about making a cosmetic operation to improve the look of his nose. Recent rumors that al-Baklimi is secretly married to a famous belly dancer and that he has financially supported the production of her movies just added more damage to the image of the Islamists...... .......... For several years the liberal media showed some sympathy for the MB as their members were put into prisons during Mubarak's time and the organization was considered an illegal body. This sympathy was predominantly due to the fact that many liberals were predominantly focused on fighting military control over of the country rather than a real support for the MB agenda. After the MB gained some power in the recent parliamentary elections they expressed hostility toward women rights and toward personal freedoms. This has led many liberals to realize the MB is a real threat to the freedom and liberty in the country. After the Jan. 25 revolution, wealthy Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia failed to support the new political powers in the country. This was partially because they were not well organized and partially because the Arab countries feared that the success of this revolution may make it a model to be copied in their own countries. The long honeymoon between the Arab countries and the MB that lasted for decades has simply ended as the Arab leaders are not ready to sacrifice their power for the sake of the MB.
That last bold point is important because Egypt isn't the only Islamic neighbours that have lost Arab support.. Iran ‘advises’ Arab neighbours against missile shield www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2012%5C04%5C05%5Cstory_5-4-2012_pg14_2

AH and the truth always comes out; an all out war yes, but one that was supposed to be happening already no doubt. The reality is that old GB was right and there was a new axis of evil, and, it was China that was at the center of it. Take a step back for a second... Since the financial crisis we have seen: North Korea really up their antics, increased Islamic attacks in China, the Arab spring (that has now reached IRAN!), Islamic Banking and China taking a new stance on terrorism. If this new weapons evidence proves that there WAS a plan against the US and CAN, like some of us needed anymore evidence of this. Then the reality is that since we DIDN’T fall and collapse and get left open for an attack after 08-09, then what has happed since is showing that a BIG player, that was paying both sides, has made up their mind about the path forward. Let see we have: China’s new Movies industry, more and more western companies moving in and taking over in China, then of course there is that new mantra of happiness not GDP... Crazy? You really think that the commies in China wanted to let their people go? Look what reading before bed will get ya... ;D Back to the first post... This is a thread from FED watch that I would like to share with everyone, it's something that should be watched as it will shape the world as we know it going forward.. China has announced that they are joining Russia, the Arab league, Israel, the West, and India, in condemning the violence in Syria. This leaves only Iran as the supporters of this tragedy. Meanwhile the UN has just released a paper saying that Iran is most likely producing nuclear weapons. I know, big surprise right? However, again Iran finds themselves standing alone, well ok they have Venezuela. If you look at how China is now co-operating with world powers on terrorist issues, and how they are saying they want to work in co-operation in places like, Afghanistan. It would appear that China has decided that stability in the region is in their best interest. really? That's a shocker. It's not like they have a million problem of their own. Free Enterprise FTW. Is China in danger of losing its wealthy class? And now... The PLA in Afghanistan... China had been teaching their kids English for decades. English is the easiest language to learn, all hotels and business meetings are scheduled to our calender not the Chinese one. While Mandarin courses and Schools are popping up across NA, you also have to remember that the rich are beginning to flee China. They also tech English at all these Mandarin schools, and interestingly enough, a lot of Chinese students are learning French as a way to immigrate easier to Canada. I think most are going to have to know a couple languages in the future, its not like it hurts now.

Putin is in Palestine and Turkey is ready to go with Syria. Saudi and the rest of the GCC want stability because they want money, and profits. That works out good for the women that get to drive cars and the people that get to have homes in Saudi Arabia now! WE (the people) WIN! Well Virg, I remember a thread about the uprising in Egypt on the old MT.. I can't remember the thread title now. My point was that Egypt will be lead by the Muslim Brotherhood, but that it's a situation like, you say your going to be moderate, now BE moderate! I wonder if showing that we are serious about boosting their population has anything to do with it?
