I already stated that I was recusing myself from moderating this specific thread. The other moderators are well aware of that fact and the content of this thread. Turn around and let me see

I've been doing that for a few months...based on the size of my ass, I'd say it's not working Maybe that's because of the nightly Red Cat and not the carbs. Sigh...I know...I polished off the bottle last night and am back on the wagon...I will see if that helps with my weight loss...I'm just not sure that life without Red Cat is a life worth living

I'm opting out of being a moderator for this one thread, because I have a personal involvement in it and recognize the inherent conflict of interest that therefore exists. It's called recusal, and it's a good thing. If you can't figure out what you've said in the thread that makes you SOUND like a fucking moron, then my explaining it to you slowly won't help any. Incorrect.

JMOFWIW (acronyms are fun! )... Anyway, saying someone sounds like a moron (of any type) seems like it would be more of a help than a personal attack. After all, if you're not intending to come across like a moron, then it's a notice that you should probably rethink your words. And if you do want to sound like a moron, well then, you've accomplished your purpose! No one actually called any person anything.

Real enemies...in a virtual place? I gotta stick around to see how this works out.
And your plan for MM to not post on certain threads would be what? A moat, high walls and rocket launchers? Deb, Deb, Deb...virtual world does not work that way. By making this statement, you've all but opened the door, put down the old "Welcome" mat and stocked the bar.

I would like to know what your personal involvement is, J. You don't want to hold your friends responsible for following the CoC? They might get mad at you? Is that it?

His personal involvement seems to be that Deb was attacking him and his handling of his previous relationship. From where I'm sittin'.

I've told a person I found them off-putting once and they still haven't gotten over it. I was trying to be helpful. Okay, I wanted the freak to go away, but I digress...

My personal involvement is that Deb said that I gave my ex permission to cheat on me, and that I could have stopped it if I wanted.

So because Deb made a personal attack toward you, it was ok that MM made a personal attack toward Deb? TY for the explanation.

Did I say that, or did I say that I was turning moderation of this thread over to the other moderators, because I felt that I couldn't be fair or unbiased? If the other moderators feel that a personal attack was made, they can take the appropriate corrective actions. I am not in a position to make a determination on this thread.

My personal involvement is that Deb said that I gave my ex permission to cheat on me, and that I could have stopped it if I wanted. Well you could have. It would have involved killing her, but you could have stopped her. And any mod friends I have knows they can smack me down when I cross the line - any time. I will accept it graciously and then whine about it on FB that they were mean to me. And MM can use the word "fuck" with me anytime! <<swoon>>
