I want snow . I had to go to Chicago a couple of years ago in December. Of course it was snowing and I was with someone who had never seen snow before. We were walking around with our tongues out catching snowflakes from the sky. I really wanted to make a snow angel but I was not dressed correctly for it. Yes we are the geeky Floridians My boss made fun of us the entire time. It was like below zero and he kept teasing us for wearing coats. Hello - it is cold, but he said the true northerners just run from the car to the building and don't need coats. Seriously? ? LOL!! Yep, that's what I do. I can't stand to drive with a coat on so I don't wear one. I do keep one in the car with me in case of accident, but that's about it. LOL, that's cute! I hate driving with a coat; I always take it off as soon as I get into the car.

4" of snow here too. Spent the day shoveling and plowing. It's amazing that you can get paid close to $100/hr to plow if you're fast. Wow, if you read that the wrong way it sounds dirty.

That's the best part about plowing. The truck does the work. Raise/lower, left/right, a little back dragging and you can have most driveways done in about 10 minutes. $15 a pop, so you have to root for snow. Of course you should call when it's 3" or under, and you can get burned on a seasonal bid contract for a total $ amount instead of $ per plw day.

I never did. She would try to make me carry it, and complain about being hot. So the option is to be in 10 degree weather for 30 seconds, or be hot walking around shopping for a couple hours. She eventually starting making the convenient decision.

He-he - but you have lots of Tequila to warm up with. Actually, I don't usually wear coats but will layer most of the time. However, when it gets in the 20-40's I have a cute little white (fake) rabbit coat that I will wear. Whenever I wear it at work someone tells me that I look cute so that is a definite plus.

Exactly, you just run from the car to the mall and then you are good...otherwise, you either sweat throughout the mall or you struggle with your coat and all of your packages...

Oh no, I'm a gentleman, so I'd drop her off at the closest door and park so that 30 seconds was for me. She'd have about 6 seconds and then be inside. Yet I'd be the one that struggled with the bags and her coat.

Ok - I guess it is no coat when I go to Chicago the next time Kidding of course, it is fun to leave it at the coat room in a nice restaurant. Although, a coat wasn't nearly warm enough the one time we went shopping in an outside mall. Just going from store to store I froze my touchie off. I can see your points though. Perhaps being a Florida girl has its advantages. Although it sure would be nice to get snow a day or two anyway

Oh, I don't take my husband to the mall with me...he just bitches "the 500 pairs of shoes you own aren't enough"...much more relaxing to leave him AND the kids at home
