Final Update- 23/20 NSD- yesterday I had my oil changed and had my mechanic replace some burned out lightbulbs. I had already purchased the bulbs ($80 for the freaking headlight!) Glad I paid Randy to do it- he is a professional and it still took him two hours of monkeying around. Would have taken DH two days in the garage and the neighbor kids would have learned some new swear word combinations Ready to embrace December! Muttley: We will miss you, check in whenever you get a chance (from home obviously )

muttley - wow, that seems surprising considering how chill your boss usually seems. we'll miss you! do pop in when you can! and yay about DH looking into quitting!
honey - sounds like you are in a positive mindset going forward. good luck quitting smoking!!
Orbitz charged me $13.98 for my two tickets to Alaska. Two round trip tickets. It should have been $1358.00. Curious if this is a small charge "hold" before they charge the real amount, or if they effed up. Waiting to see...
Some small frustrations at work. My boss is back after being out for three weeks and some things weren't done to her standards while she was gone. Meanwhile these tasks were things I'd never done before so... trying to be patient with her.
Blue is at his cousin-in-law's funeral today. I feel bad not going to the wake last night or today with him but I don't feel comfortable with the situation. Hard to explain. Maybe I should have sucked it up and gone to support his family. I don't know. PM me if you want scandalous details.
I can't decide if these snowflakes on the screen are cute and fun or totally annoying...

November Final: 11NSD + 15CSD=26 of 26Not quite what I wanted, I wanted one more no spend in there, but Amazon was having a one day sale on some things I wanted to get DH for Christmas yesterday, so I went ahead and took advantage of the deal. Muttley: If you see this, we'll see you when we see you azmom: Family comes first, but we look forward to seeing you more next year sugalite: Not certain if I said "Welcome" already or not, so, Welcome! We love having new folks. Honey: Your decisions are your decisions. And even if people disagree with them, that's none of their business. We're here to support you as best we can. 3cats: Take whatever goals you need. You are amazing. red: If Blue had really wanted you there, he would have let you know, but since it doesn't seem he pushed the issue, then I wouldn't worry about it. Happy Birthday SapphireSee you all in December (which of course it already is)

26/20 Controlled/No Spend days. I was good and packed the kids food so we didn't have to stop.
Yesterday was busy.
Oh and I just received Jury Duty Summons. Since I am able to my self but unable to serve due to DS#2 we will see what happens. I have a call in to see what documentation they need me to send to them..... I don't feel guilty about not serving as I served either in 99 or 2000 and did OVER 2 weeks..... Most people seem to be able to call and not have to serve but of course I was there every day, on one jury, in one pool, not called, then interviewed for a 3rd jury that would have taken WEEKS. Judge and lawyers tried to bully me (told them I couldn't be impartial, which I could not have been.)
Honey: Good luck on quitting.
Muttley: Check in when you can but obviously at home! Good luck to DH.
Now off to figure out what we are having for dinner!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! My bed was delivered today. I like it. Since I didn't unroll my rug when I brought it home from the store, I have things sitting on the rug for it to flatten out. My bed sits higher than before. My sitting room is coming along nicely as well. I had Verizon Fios installed today. One bill for home phone, tv and internet now. I save a little bit of money as well. I had to pay Sprint a cancellation fee, but I will break even in 5 months, so the prepaid gift card will be a complete bonus. Yippee!!!
honey -- great news on the Unemployment check. You do what you need to do money wise. muttley -- you'll be missed. Congrats on DH taking iniative to quit smoking. SES -- how is kcgal? She's been missing in action. mizbear -- congrats on progress with DM! sheila -- Yikes on the price of the headlight! Yeah that it is fixed. $80? Come to think of it, I've never replaced a headlight on my truck, so if I keep my truck long enough, I guess replacing one could be in my future. It will be 8yrs old in Feb. red -- Virtual snowflakes are the only kind I want to see. I must admit they did catch me by surprise this morning when I first saw them. MK -- I just read where MN has a budget surplus despite or b/c of the shenanigans this summer. 3cats -- impressive on the gift cards; sounds like a very good plan to me.
See everybody in December.

sapphire- its one of the new fancy "white" light bulbs that's really blue. IDK- basically everything on my car is expense. Dang Volvo better run forever! At least I have some good mechanic friends that help me out for cheap and a parts store in town where I get a good discount. So far this year- $80 for the headlight, nearly $400 for front pads and rotors and $1200 for new tires. Headlight and brakes don't include labor but total I have paid like $150 in labor to fix things this year. But in all honesty she (my car's name is Betty) is normally pretty drama free
