Then perhaps he should go to work on that instead of going on vacation. Is it any wonder voter's confidence in Obama to make the right decisions for the country is down 10 points to 33%? I realize that it goes against our grand Puritan tradition, but vacations are actually a positive use of one's time.

It's not a question of whether or not, it's a question of timing. I think it's fairly obvious that Obama has had enough vacation time in the last two and a half years.

I am amused by how often those who use "IMHO" are neither "Humble" nor "Honest".Good to know you are amused about something as important as IMHOHow do you feel about FYI.... "Feelings" aside, I observe that you display every mark of a bullying narcissistic blowhard "jock" that passionately loves the sound of his own voice and interprets every political development from the perspective of "Yankees vs. Red Sox". And I wish you would curtail posting your buffoonish nonsense, your opinions might have some value AFTER you "grow the hell up".

"P.I." , since registering on Jan. 2 of this year, you have posted over 6, 657 times in 225 days. Is somebody PAYING you to generate all the static and white noise? Are you a right-wing "shill"? Or is it that you are so overwhelmed with your own brilliance that you are COMPELLED to share it with all your intellectual inferiors?

Obama criticizes GOP presidential field President says attendees need to tell Washington 'it's time for the games to stop' WASHINGTON — Hitting back against an emboldened GOP, President Barack Obama launched a rare direct attack Monday on the Republican presidential field, criticizing his potential 2012 rivals for their blanket opposition to any deficit-cutting compromise involving new taxes. "That's just not common sense," Obama told the crowd at a town hall-style meeting in Cannon Falls, Minn., as he kicked off a three-day bus tour through Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. "You need to take a balanced approach," he insisted. Obama recalled a moment in last week's GOP presidential debate when all eight of the candidates said they would refuse to support a deal with tax increases, even if tax revenues were outweighed 10-to-1 by spending cuts. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44146173/ns/politics-decision_2012/

Have you ever considered getting a hobby that doesn't involve the puter, Obama and your keyboard PI? I heard that my dad, before kicking the bucket, was spending his days volunteering with returning vets....supposedly it helped ease his "military/Nam guilt" (according to his gf)....

I think that this thread establishes that the radical right-wing definitely has its own share of "big dips".

On Tuesday the president holds what the White House is billing as a "rural economic forum" in Peosta, Iowa, near the Illinois border, where he'll be joined by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to announce several initiatives for rural areas. He'll wrap up Wednesday with town halls in Atkinson in northwestern Illinois, and then in nearby Alpha, Ill., before returning to Washington. On Thursday he flies with his family to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts for his annual summer vacationwww.msnbc.msn.com/id/44146173/ns/politics-decision_2012/

It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

His 3 day bus tour should have allowed Obama to take more questions at the Town Hall Meetings instead he just gave campaign speeches and only took a few questions from the audiences and his answers are always the same he blames congress for the Bush Tax Cuts, Debt Crisis and lack of a Jobs Plan....it is always somebody else's fault and never his since he just watches from the sidelines instead of being a leader with guidelines and bottom lines

When a right-wing Tea partying pundit-wannabe blames Congress for various things... It is "Patriotic". But should the President make the same charges... it's anathema.
Double-standards are the refuge of hypocrites.

Let me post something nice.
He has a nice new bus to travel on! They made two of them. One for him, and one for the Republican Presidential candidate, after that person is picked, so we cannot see any favortism for either candidate. Obama's is a jet black in color. I wonder if the Republican's bus will be a different color, so we can tell the candidates apart.

I wonder why Obama didn't have Cornel West and Tavis Smiley on his bus tour? They are also on the road again in their bus..

Ah, yes- another area in which we could save taxpayer dollars. NO public funds for campaigns.

Obama is out campaigning 64 weeks before the Presidential Elections seems to be because he is running scared with his approval rating at @40 %... Even Dems supporters are concerned about Obama or maybe frustrated with the economy and his leadership.
But the White House claims this is not a campaign trip but merely Obama's bus trip to get in touch with the country again....

I think what is hypocritical is that Obama didn't mention any of the repubs candidate by name and said "I know it is NOT election season yet"..... The what season is it?? But at least on this campaign tour Obama is being forced to defend his own record and not just lambaste the repubs ad nauseum...he can't defend all the compromises he made with the GOP or can he take any responsibility for the debt crisis or high unemployment.....it is all the fault of the repubs.. so maybe watching the Jets vs the Colts Titans will help my mood..) Jets vs Titans didn't do much
