Actually I have. It was a stupid mistake, but it was still just a mistake. I don't believe for a nanosecond that it somehow reveals a secret hatred of our soldiers or other such rubbish. People read into things too deeply. He has made other gaffs as well Ma'am and they didn't play too well with the military rank and file, and his many screw ups went viral on most of the military blogs and websites...he is the only president I know who may have lost the military rank and file for his lack of knowledge about military protocol...but I know you Liberals could care less but the military does care.. FYI, liberals serve in the military too.

Some people post on multiple forums, and will tell others if they have been banned in a particular one. I gave Marsha a two day time out because she called you names right after I told you to stop calling her names.

".but I know you Liberals could care less but the military does care.." You don't know any such thing. Oh but I do know and recall very well Ma'am, the liberals on this board defended Obama's gaffs and screw ups including one that caused the RNC to issue a scathingg statement about him not knowing the MOH awardee correct names...something you probably could care less about, but the members of the 10th Mountain Division do care about.. As some of the members here have noted, President Obama mixed up his Medal of Honor awardees during remarks to the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum. Liberals here said "So What" "Who Cares?" and some even posted because they thought his gaff was funny.. In a bad mistake that would have had George W. Bush painted a dummy or Ronald Reagan senile, Obama somehow forgot the living soldier on whom he bestowed a Medal of Honor – the first soldier in a generation to be given the medal after having survived his experience

My father and closest cousin (he's six days younger than I am) are both veterans of the 10th. Yes, they do care.

Thanx but I think to blindly support Obama and downplay his gaffs with the military misses the point his gaffs are serious. But for some reason the Liberals here on this board when we discussed this a few weeks ago will not accept that or want to dismiss them as no big thing.. that is absurd IMHO.. We should expect more from our Commander in Chief to say the least..

I know that Sweet Virginia but when I said to Shirina that "you liberals" I was referring to the liberals here on this board who thought the Obama Military protocol mistakes or misstatements are just nit picking or irrelevant...I strongly disagree..

I have a fantastic idea. Instead of trying to tell me what I think, what I care about and how I feel on any given subject, which frankly turns me right off and engages my "snarky-ness" you might want to try asking me instead.

It's very amusing watching the libs vent their bigotry, racism and hatred on one Republican candidate after another. It's almost tiring to watch. Every time a new contender announces their intentions, the libs have to get all worked up with vitriol and hate for that person, then the next week it's on to the next one...LOL! Don't you get tired? Who will you hate next week?

I have asked you several time Ma'am and still got your "snarkyness" maybe you might want to adjust your "snarkyness" level to a lower range...just saying

The Tea Party thinks she will so you are going to have to deal with it....so who knows you might get to like Ms Bachmann...after all she is entertaining and you have to know she will obviously say something to set off the Liberal Media again..And Michele Bachmann will surely host Saturday Night Live a few times over the next 18 months ...

Thanks.

I actually think Bachmann may have more of a chance at the Repub nomination than Romney or some of the other "front runners"right now. IMO, the right has become hard core right and the ones who will come out and vote in the primaries may likely vote in a wing nut like Bachmann.

She won't be able to keep her crazy in check long enough. It's going to end up being Romney unless something better comes along.

SNL did an awesome parody of her reading her charts while looking at the wrong camera....and she is now fodder for MSNBC & CNN...and digging up dirt on her and her husband businesses. including a farm they own..

And that could be the end of her. But the republican party has gone extreme right and likely voters may just turn a blind eye to her antics. Romney has two major strikes, Mormon, and Health care. The hard core righties may not be able to get past that. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
