This is the clearest example I've seen of the adolescent pre-ejaculative nature of his presidencyYou forgot his performance a few weeks ago in Great Britain when Obama toasted the Queen and embarrassed himself, the Queen, Great Britain, Canada, and even some Liberals in San Francisco CA I'll never forget that. Obama embarassed us all. Remember how they talked about Bush harming our reputation? Ha! This guy is a disaster for international relations. First class idiot.

I'll never forget that. Obama embarassed us allHow about if you were in the military and watched Obama not salute or return salutes on several occasions or mispronounce "Corpsman".... ?

I guess the fact that he took 500 staff along to London made his clumsy dundering pretty damned expensive, P.I., but nothing compared to his larky excursions into economics.

I have to admit though Marsha he did better than I expected with his speech about withdrawing troops from Afghanistan...
But I watched the hearings yesterday in the senate and Admiral Mullin and General Patraeus think Obama's goals for 30,000 exiting the Afghan by next summer could be a tough challenge for them. But they just have to make it happen... The Liberals of course want that number to much higher and I tend to agree with them..

But playing with soldiers lives for the sake of his political campaign. Sickening.

The drop in oil prices might be just the "stimulus" needed to push the OPEC nations into a production cut after being at odds with each other for the last year or so. Does Obama really think they're going to take a big pay cut without doing anything ?

# 17---Krickett your really smart guy is talking about the global movement.......Colaspe the dollar, China is saying we have already defaulted on debt, and expect the IMF to come up with a world currency and from Sept. to Dec they also expect gold and silver to go up 25% or more during this same time. Others---If you do not believe the elite are quickly pushing Global govt maybe you need to get your head out of the sand.

]Go figure. The political side may be at war with the economic side
Yea but you also have a split with conservative vs liberal economists on the release of Strategic Oil Reserves...but other sources are Big Oil execs who all think this one month's release of oil into the markets will NOT be that significant..

I doubt this is meant to hurt speculators, and speculators are not what causes the price of oil to rise and fall, speculation actually helps smooth out the spikes.

Well, this worked out as about all most everything else this administration has tried. Oil at $95.54 UP $2.65 a barrel today. Speculators made a bundle selling it short, now they are making money bidding it up. Consumers and taxpayers lose.
